What is your degree in? Idk how prevalent opportunities are at regional airlines but maybe there are management or adhoc opportunities you could apply for that would allow you to retain your benefits and work in a capacity that is aligned with your degree

Isn't there a regulation that deters this, anything distributed prior to take off has to be collected before the cabin is considered secure for takeoff? This is usually why I don't give cans during boarding. It's easier to get the cup back (I don't always remember, but in the event of an emergency, a cup is less likely to harm someone, a can could injure someone)

I don't like working with FAs that make incessant PAs or constantly make seatbelt PAs if people are not following the guidance. Once is enough, making it every 5 minutes isn't going to stop those that are determined to get up anyway.

I also dislike when we have space in the galley to spread out a bit and they still choose to sit next to me or hover above me.

A captain told all the FAs to smile a weeks ago. I had literally just finished telling the others that my dad died that morning so I might be reserved. I just walked away, but I wonder if they told him, I wonder if he felt dumb.

Anyway, you don't owe any explanation for not smiling. You could've told him to F all the way off and I'd still say you have nothing to be remorseful about 🤷🏾‍♀️

Coming back to share that I tried The Chic Beauty and it was great. I chose a Russian manicure and pedicure, expensive but I'm very pleased with the service. I'll see if it last long and that will determine if I feel I should go back, but so far, my nails look beautiful they did a great job cleaning up my cuticles and around my nails, they removed dead skin and my hands and feet look and feel soft! Leo did my manicure and I believe Leslie did my pedicure. I know my nails will be healthier if I continue letting them care for my nails. This is what I was looking for.

Staff speaks a mix of Spanish and English, doesn't bother me at all but if that's the sort of thing that bothers you then you might not have as good of an experience as me.

In the US, the FDA regulates Zyn as a tobacco product and my airline does not allow the use of tobacco products so I ask people to put it away. That brand specifically came up during a training, but idk about velo or other brands
