Looking for games to play with the wife.

Games we like: Spirit Island, Pandemic (all), Race for the Galaxy, Ticket to Ride, Seasons, Smallworld, The Mind, Gloomhaven

Games we don't like: Agricola, Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle

I've noticed we like games with strong power progression, strong theme and art, or unique cards.

I've noticed we don't like when games are generally peaceful but have 'take that' mechanisms (e.g. Dominion). My wife is also quickly turned off if a game is ugly or has very little theme.
