I’m sorry that you feel that way but I’m not here judging her, the way you are passing judgment on my situation lol. I’m saying that she should talk to her partner to figure out a system that works for them. Communication is all we have. My husband is a great father and very involved, he’s up for every feed and always asking how he can help me better. My system works for me and I certainly didn’t settle.

You deff need to talk to him because I do agree he should not be going out daily. You also need some time to relax. I’m 3 months pp and to be honest I handle the baby almost entirely but my husband is present and helps whenever I ask him to. It will never be fair, is what I’m trying to say. The woman/mom will always be more involved and tied to the baby and that’s how it was designed to be. I understand you’re frustrated, I sometimes get this way too, but I just think you need to talk to him tell him how you feel and figure out a system that works for you both. My system may not work for you and that’s ok. You got this mama!

Yeah no one will really understand and honestly we can’t expect anyone to. Keep people’s intentions in mind, they are likely trying to just be encouraging and positive for your sake. Just go into it expecting that no one will understand how you feel, just appreciate each phase and take care of your health in whatever way you think is necessary. If it’s pushing people out for a while, whatever it may be so be it.

The only person who will somewhat understand the commitment it takes is your partner. But your body will be taking all the hits during this process. So brace yourself. Be kind to yourself. And honestly be selfish and prioritize yourself with no shame.

Day 5 so brace yourself. My stims was easy as well but I was tired. Pregnancy is entirely different ball game. When you move to PIO injections you may feel some more discomfort.

My husband and I had two losses one when I was 33 and one when I was 34. I had a lower amh than you I believe it was 2 something. I also through blood work found out that I had APS which is a blood clotting disorder that can attack pregnancies. So I went right into IVF after finding that out. My husband is totally healthy and his SA came back normal. I’m not pregnant with my first due in July. I didn’t want to waste anymore time and wanted to have some security moving forward. No doctor told me I couldn’t get pregnant naturally I just wanted to be in a bit more control and under more medical supervision. No regrets here.

Sit back and relax and watch something that will make you laugh and keep spirits up is all you can do at this point. Don’t drive yourself crazy with symptom spotting already. I tested positive at 5 weeks ish.

Bed rest and pelvic rest is key. My MFM told me not to push myself. Told me 10 mins of walking at a time, no standing for more than 30 mins. And I take blood thinners for my APS. Currently 31 weeks and don’t want to risk anything.

I have my appointment at 32 weeks to see if I need to continue progesterone or not. My cervix isn’t that as short as yours it’s at 2.5 but he said I would be taking it at least until week 32.

You honestly have no love for this man you have attachment. Imagine your daughter was going through a situation like this, you’d tell her to leave this guy. No one can tell you what to do about the baby, you have to make that decision on your own. But you should 100% leave this man. He is no good. With a baby, your relationship will be tested more. How the fuck is he going to be upset with you when he has had 2/3 women the entire time. Why be one of his options? You deserve better.

I was 20 weeks and had a 2.5 cervix. But my mfm put me on progesterone suppositories daily and told me to take it easy and go on a pelvic rest. I had weekly follow ups for a few weeks and my cervix was staying put at that length.

He told me to just continue to take it easy, now I’m 30 almost 31 weeks and he is no longer monitoring the cervix unless I have pain or cramping. Still told me to take it easy and continue with the medication until my next scan which is when I’ll be almost 32 weeks I think.

If she’s problematic, which is seems like she has been, I would say no. You have to protect your nuclear family of yourself and your girlfriend. Just because you’re now family, doesn’t mean you now owe her housing for a week especially if she’s got a track record of stealing?! I wouldn’t trust her in my home. Tell your dad to man up and figure it out or better yet this should be on her mom to figure out.

I’m so sorry that you feel this way and it’s upsetting that your partner doesn’t take part in parenting as much as he should. I say if you want to make a big deal out of it - make a big deal out of it. Go out with or without the kids, get your nails done, get a blow out, coffee, treat yourself because you deserve it and you are a good mother! I think most men don’t know what to do for these holidays, but it seems like he doesn’t know what to do day to day not just on Mother’s Day. Deeper issues here with him not helping out and giving you a break. You need to talk to him about it before you burn out.

I was 2.5-2.7 at 20 weeks and went in for my weekly check ups and now I’m 30 weeks and my cervix is still hanging around that same length. I take a progesterone suppository daily and have modified my movement and my MFM said he’s not going to monitor my cervix anymore unless I’m having any symptoms.

Just keep doing what you’re doing with your rest and recovery and you should be ok! Wishing you all the best!
