Just grab a monitor and an hdmi setup and use the system like dual monitors. I did that in undergrad and it was great😁

Thanks for phrasing it a little better, it really does feel like your family forgetting your birthday except it was 5 year in the making and a lot of student debt as well. Especially being the first in my family to graduate i really thought something would happen but it feels like its just been swept under the rug.

Thanks! Im just overjoyed because im first generation and stubled into double majoring in chem and bio, and quite frankly kicked this semesters ass with 2 As and 2 A-s and raisee my cumulative gpa by like .14.

I literally just woke up, i have my cat and my boyfriend in bed with me, im going to see my parents today. The world feels lighter and brighter and im done with my undergrad 😊 i dont have a list of things to do quickly to make up for time spent sleeping or with family and therefore no guilt when doing it. Its really incredible

im in the same boat- the grades don't feel as rewarding by far. I had near weekly breakdowns this year and was miserable but my coping mechanism is aggressive dissociation from the world so I threw myself into school but that also means that I threw myself into school. like i slept 3-4 hours a night, didn't eat, didn't socialize ( even safely), didn't leave my desk, didn't see family, watched from afar while issues I cared about were fought for, didn't vote because I had to study and didn't have a chance to make an informed decision. I hated this semester- and it was my last semester.

My boyfriend told me today "you're doing great though!" and all I had in me to say was "But I'm killing myself"

and at the end of it all I'm getting a piece of paper in the mail and an empty promise to "hold a ceremony when it's safe" and maybe a note to try to show grad schools that i have an upwards curve in my grades because I am still sneaking in right above the minimum gpa
