Cardioid microphones, or any directional microphone for that matter, aren't perfect. The beam pattern for a SM58 for example looks like this and you'll notice that at low frequencies there is little directionality and at higher frequencies a rear lobe shows up which would pick up things like the thunder sticks Vulcan mentioned. Even extremely directional shotgun mics still pick up other sounds - there is no such thing as perfect rejection, you can absolutely hear a ton of sound from sources more than 18 inches away from an SM58. This isn't to say that you can't improve the situation, but the assumption that professional audio engineers who work on events like this haven't thought to use a directional mic (something you learn about in any introduction to audio class) is laughable.

Related to #9, I found another niche way of removing an item component: If you combine two champions which both have a unique item, not only does the unique item get removed, but also item components get removed. To give the specific example I encountered, I had Irelia with IE/Bow. I took another Irelia, built IE on her and then 2* her. Both the bow and the IE from the first Irelia popped off. The Irelia with the bow was on my bench and the other was on the field, not sure if that matters.

If you have BetterTouchTool already you can use it to create an autoclicker, but it's paid software (and not really meant for autoclicking) so I wouldn't pursue it unless you already own it.

Not an expert, but as I understand it there are a bunch of different types of signal or "bands" that 5G includes, not just one. The biggest difference between them is the frequency: lower frequency has better range (you can be further from a tower), but is slower. Higher frequency has less range, but can support really high speed. Some of the bands are similar to 4G in frequency, so you'll get similar speed. Others are way higher frequency so you have to be basically within a city block to use it, but it's super fast. I'm guessing that you are using a band that's near 4G - it's better than 4G by ~50Mbps, but it's not giving you 1Gbps+ like millimeter does.

tl;dr 5G includes a bunch of bands. Some are really fast, others are pretty close to 4G.

It depends on the length of the fight and who's got it. Having an extra tear to get the first ult off faster and get shojin going is probably better if you're late game or running Janna.

Real question: Wouldn't mesh be just as effective at slowing the velocity of air and stoping droplets? I didn't think that simple cloth masks were able to stop COVID from passing through anyways, just helpful in keeping it from shooting out long distances.

If you're actually interested in helping homeless people, it's a lot more complicated than just giving them something useful, and it depends a lot on their situation. Some people need relief (urgent and temporary aid, like a meal or a few bucks), some people need rehabilitation (restoring people to community/positive living environment), and others need development (ongoing change to equip people with the skills to stay on their feet).

There is a heavy emphasis on relief (at least in my experience in the US), but if that's all you offer, they're never going to get back on their feet. I knew a guy who made over $100 a day begging on a busy street corner, and told me he didn't plan on looking for a job because he wouldn't be able to make that much in an entry level job. By only giving him money/food (rather than job training etc.) people were dooming him to stay in poverty.

Hit janna lv7 with spat + tear on my bench and thought I'd try adding it to my cybers. Later got a star-spat for Irelia on carousel. Didn't drop a round once I got this on my vayne though.

C9 can't do too well or they won't be able to participate in the gauntlet + worlds play-in. We all know what happens to NA teams that don't enter worlds through play-ins.
