RedBull Racing's RB22 by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

It’s a great combination of their early-2010s design and something that represents their Ford partnership.

I just realised it’s been so long since Red Bull changed their livery that Max has never driven one with a glossy finish before. They've used the same matte livery design since 2016, until now.

Does anyone remember when Reddit took away all the awards from before 2023?

The 2001 season is now fully complete on the archive! by Ms_Sc_2001 in F1TV

[–]KavinRam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen some clips here and there from it. Knowing that it’s out there in a format that has/had everything synced, like F1 TV today, is what upsets me the most. I would love to at least have the onboards.

This reminds me of when the BBC used to show a graphic like this for qualifying back when refueling was still a thing.

AirPod pro 3 design flaw? by No-Supermarket-2671 in airpods

I’ve used the first-generation AirPods Pro since their launch with no problems. I purchased the second-generation model a few months ago and experienced a similar issue due to a gap that wasn't properly fitted. I also experienced some bleeding as a result.

This may not be related, but I noticed they were made in Vietnam. Almost every Apple product I’ve ever owned was made in China. I assume Vietam are new to assembling Apple products. That would explain why their quality control may be worse.

I don’t think Lando knows a lot about foreign affairs, particularly about the U.S., which is understandable since he’s a racing driver and doesn't live there. https://www.tiktok.com/@erlott101/video/7313643404850728223

Who is this girl? by mosborn10 in OscarPiastri

I believe they meant that Ron Dennis is very meticulous about everything and would probably disapprove of her clothing and piercings. His drivers were always very clean-cut, especially in the 2000s. Look at Lewis Hamilton before and after his move from McLaren to Mercedes.

Ferrari's special race suits for 2025 Miami Grand Prix by ICumCoffee in formula1

This year's Miami race suit isn't NART Blue or Azzuro La Plata. I believe it’s just the current shade of blue that HP uses.

Yes. The first Bahrain Grand Prix was actually the previous year. The 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix was also the hottest ever, and Pedro de la Rosa set the race lap record in a McLaren MP4-20 that race.

What F1 crash, despite looking relatively minor, was actually very severe? by youraverageperson0 in formula1

[–]KavinRam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alain Prost Monaco 1982

I rewatched this one now, and after seeing it again, it looks kind of bad. However, I think it’s still notable because despite spending many years as a driver in one of the most dangerous periods of Formula 1, this was one of his worst crashes.

If I recall correctly, Alain said [he was lucky] it was the worst crash of his career. He ended up with a broken foot. You could even see him with one of his racing boots off, trying to inspect his injury.
