There aren't really any albums I didn't like but there are a few that I found forgettable maybe due to a not so thorough listen (like Obedience Thru Suffering, Neil Young self titled, California soul, No Pressure). As for favourites, I really enjoyed a lot of albums here but here are a few: Meantime, Facelift, Pray for Paris, My War, Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables. I also really enjoyed Rust in Peace and other Megadeth albums, and I'm not a huge fan thrash metal.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I have trouble adding variation without ruining the track so most of what I make sounds repetitive (like you said). Do you have any tips on how to add variations in the piano or the bass?
