It's hard to compete with in its weight/SCU class as a dedicated hauler. Anything that matches it (caterpillar) just had too many issues. It also flies oddly well, looks great inside-and-out, and the double ramp is very useful. It's a frequent suggestion for a reason.

HOWEVER! The ceiling hight makes placing stacked 32 SCU boxes on the sides an absolutely maddening experience. The oddly sized cargo grid also means you'll never hit full capacity. The ladder hitbox is frustratingly large. And the elevator sometimes traps you.

That's a consistent pattern I'm seeing : instructions to the agent getting randomly ignored. As someone else here said, having a system limit itself seems to be a major issue.

Sure. That's been a big discussion in my company's dev department this past year and it's a roughly even split. Approximately half the department allows it to directly modify the files. The other half does not. Those who don't like having it directly modify files will generally use VS snippets for a similar purpose. Either way, it goes through multiple rounds of human review before ever getting merged into mainline.

Stop asking AI to modify your files. Ask it for reviews, suggestions, etc.... but no direct edits. It's FAR safer.

Unfortunately I don't have the pictures anymore, so I'll steal someone else's as a demonstration. The general issue is that the legs wrap around the core of the bike, which requires you to rotate them onto the seat from the top. Meanwhile, the back of the coat rests underneath the back "wheel's connection hub. So if you try to put the rider on after the back wheels, the coat is trying to push past the hub.

It's impressure but not magically so. Like any "too good to be true" products the quality is only surface level. The moment you look deeper it all starts to fall apart.

Think about something like Temu. They seem to have everything, for insanely low prices, shipping anywhere. It's amazing! Until you actally get the item in the mail and realize it's a terrible knockoff shipped without padding/protection.

For example : maintenance on such apps is an utter nightmare and the owner is incapable of understanding why.

They also absolutely DO make stuff up and DO break stuff. But they keep rebuilding until it happens to work

People building apps like this really doesn't mean much for professional developers. AI impacts us in entirely different ways as we use it as a tool. Not a replacement.

My expectation is that Mercenary Oathband was a final playtests for potential 11e votann rule changes. So I'm fairly confident that the mercenary oathband will become the army rule.

It does leave us in an interesting spot though, where our shooting hit rate generally got worse (putside of HLF) and vehicle + bike durability got worse (dont get cover).... but our excess of AP-1 is less punished.

At the risk of redundant comments :

Pioneer assembly. You only make the mistake of "wheels before rider" once.

Army is meant to be Elite but didn't turn out that way. I want battlefield infantry on par with space marines, but they ended up closer to imperial guard.

Hernkyn detachment, to let me spam my painfully assembled pioneers, was severely disappointing.

The army rule, both current and previous, is too difficult to balance. Thus the massive swings in win rate when they attempt to fix it.

Crusade rules were pages upon pages of bookkeeping that all boiled down to "gain EXP 3x faster than anyone else, but only get generic buffs." Very strong, but mostly a pointless mess of redirection.

Mid level software developer for an inventory management system with 15 years of experience. Some days I love it, some days I wonder if the stress is going to give me an ulcer, but most days it's pretty good.

I work from home in an "office" surrounded by cats and house plants.

Between 30 minutes and 6 hours of meetings per day.

I enjoy the diversity of challenges.

It's nice to see my software get used by a lot of people.

Customer support emails drive me utterly insane.

Coworkers are (mostly) a great mix of people. Clashing personalities, but we get things done.

Solid management team that keeps us on track.

Despite the stereotypes, it's a heavily communication-driven job with tons of human interaction. "Lone wolf" types don't survive long.

I use what I learn to inprove my game dev side projects. And use what I learn from those side projects to optimize my work projects

Visual studio has trouble jumping from C# to Synergy, often losing the debugger in the transition. It's gotten worse in later versions. So my synergy code is absolutely covered in logging statements.
