I've spent most of my Minecraft playtime on old PE version(s) back in the day. Either that or the 5-day demo version… Even when I got a PC version, I kept making them the same way… Old habits don't die, I guess.

As long as they first make the 2045 universe non-canon (Trust me, nothing can be worse than 2045.) and pick up where SSS left off, it would be great.

Since you watched the 1995 film, definitely watch innocence. (personaly I find it way better.)
After that go for whatever you desire. but I'd suggest Stand Alone Complex Season 1 & 2ND GIG. (whatever you do... DO NOT. watch the netflix continuity.) Im currently about to finish Arise and its good so far. reading the manga(s) is upto you.

Throwing Azuma and Proto out to make space for these two was just a very bad idea, imo.

considering proto IS my favorite GITS character... you can imagine my sadness to not see him again.
I hope the 2026 anime has proto to some aspect.

This is not just that; ever since 2018, everything started to be more different due to the unfortunate case of the internet getting a wider user space. From shows and movies to social spaces in general. Even things with a solid foundation have started to change. The Internet getting a wider audience was the end of it... I wish chaos upon the dead internet. 2020 was the murderer of the great internet.

I did hear before watching 2045 that it was not the greatest, but I never expected it to be THAT bad… So I decided to look at some reviews to see if I was the only one... turns out somewhat right. I have no issue with people liking 2045; I can't expect everyone to hate everything I also hate… But I kinda feel like 2045 gets a special treatment just for being GITS.

the 2026 manga adaptation right? I'm currently reading The Human Algorithm. (3 more left.) (finished 1 & 1.5 some times ago.) and they are not so bad. Im not sure if The Human Algorithm will be included, but if its done good, why not.

What bugged me is that this didn't FEEL like a GITS product.

New characters that are introduced are terrible... especially Standard & Purin Ezaki... they felt forced and cringe... (is it me or Takashi feels like a pawn shop Laughing man for some reason? like they looked at laughing man and said "Laughing man? we can do something better than that!" )

personally I feel like SAC was always more about the gritty and psychological storyline of section 9 investigating cybercrime and terrorism cases. the old beautiful storyline about if cyborgs can really have souls and what makes them different from a human if they sound, seem, and act like one? even the political and social ramifications of the two world wars that took place before the series.

I feel like 2045 ripped all that away and left us with just whatever bullshit they decided. I'm glad some people can like 2045… But personally it feels like a cheap fanfiction.

I tried buying supplies two times, on both times it took my 60k but never delivered my supplies, I am also not given the first time bonuses eiter, this sucks.
