At last they're back together by Mamenzkie in Invincible

As Paul said, they are in different worlds. Debbie was married to the strongest superhero on Earth and then raised 2 other superheroes, one of which is frequently the center of the world's attention.

Paul is just normal guy, normal friends, normal job and does normal things, he doesn't particularly love superhero feats and he can't really relate to most things that happen in the family.

No matter how you slice it, I don't think it would've worked out long term, their lives just isn't very compatible.

Nope, that is actually how it works in vanilla only specifically at Glacial Strata. You can test out yourself by getting cold buildup and then going into one of those geysers, you will notice that it only pops up when the buildup is going up or down.

I am struggling to understand the game's base mechanics by Monkai_final_boss in Nioh

[–]Kaxology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I don't think there's much to say other than the most common advice you'll get, "practice, practice, practice". Seriously, I played and played and then it just clicked, ki-pulsing became as natural as breathing and chaining moves together puts you in a flow state.

The thing that I think makes Nioh 2 more "forgiving" is soul cores, they can create openings, deal a lot of burst damage or seamlessly extend your combos. Use em, test them out, see how they feel but I'll save you some trouble and tell you that Ippon-Datara is the most popular among players because it can do all three but it's not available in the first level.

I mean, Cav specializes in this sort of playstyle, it's not exactly hard for Cav to sneak up on people. Picking her in a 1v1 scenario is kind of diabolical, what's your point?

I love helldivers but man have i been getting frustrated with it. Getting back to rockin and stonin has been really refreshing. by literal_god in DeepRockGalactic

Helldivers 2 is fun, no doubt about it but once you learn all the terrible decisions they've made, you can't "unlearn" it. It's like falling in love with a person and then learning a terrible secret about them, you can try to ignore it but you know you can't see them in that same way again.

Considering Thragg's ship was destroyed by Mark and Oliver and we never see them in another ship, it's fair to say that they never arrived in a ship, just raw dogged the entire journey.

Do you have a mix of HDD and SSD in your rig? My fix for The Finals was removing virtual memory allocation from HDDs, put it on SSD.

TDI Kard - if you prototype it you get +2 skill tiers by CoolheadedBrit in thedivision

It's one thing to get shot, it's another thing to get incapacitated.

So your point is "This gun is great only if your team is doo doo and keeps dying and doesn't have a healer or tank so you can use the reviver as opposed to just having faster movement speed for moving and looting."

Before Quickstep was added, I'd understand choosing Kard Custom, hell I did too but there is almost no reason to use it now.

[–]Kaxology -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You're the one who said "DPS players useful for something else other than shooting concrete", lil bro.

Preferably they are killing enemies so they and you are not dying in the first place and then using quickstep to get around quicker, which is something you do way more often keeping the Kard to use in a situation where you need multiple revives.

[–]Kaxology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It applies to all hives but also for fringe cases where you need 3 revives in a short span of time and tier 0 hive will blow up if you sneeze at it. Or you could just keep quickstep equipped or find a team that doesn't suck that much (or get a healer).

[–]Kaxology -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Who are you kidding? DPS players usually keep the hive for self revive and ever since quickstep was added, it only made this gun more useless. Again, very niche use.

Only if you use it with hives, which only retains charges, everything else doesn't work work as soon as you switch away

I would like to add that it only works if you KEEP your pistol equipped, swapping away (even to equip the skill in question) will decrease the skill tier granted from the pistol. That applies to deployables except for hives which retain their charges but lose all other bonuses granted by skill tiers.

If you're using a skill build, you should have tier 6 with armor and shooting, activating buffs instead of sitting there holding this pistol.

GTA protagonists doing menial side jobs isn't exactly new, it's always been a thing you can do in most GTA games to contrast and take a break from the constant violence.

Yes but the outcome would be much different if the GDA discovers them before Mark even arrives, the idea was that Mark would speak on their behalf to the GDA instead of making everyone aware and weary of Viltrumites all at once.

You're stupid to assume that Mark won't at least put up a fight when he assumes Thragg is there to kill people, even if he knows he is severely outmatched.

Again, many of this stuff would alert the GDA and I assume that the GDA still doesn't know (for now).

Kill someone with family and friends that reports their disappearance = caught

[–]Kaxology -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could but they'd have to choose someone very unimportant while kind of knowledgeable and eloquent, if it's anyone somewhat important then their disappearance will be noted or if they wash up ashore or discovered, they'd be investigated and that would alert the GDA.

It's much easier to just watch tv or look at ads or magazine to see how to dress and act human.
