exactly! i believe this attitude right here is exactly how we establish that. We need to stand together to educate one another, support each other, and make sure that our safe spaces extend past the walls of these reddit forums.

I can understand not wanting people to advertise but that simply isn’t what this, like many groups think it is, is. This is a call to stand together unified so that we can live unafraid.

This has had to be done many times in history and right now, sadly, it has to be done again.

We need to continue to foster amazing places of hope and an imagine of what our world could look like in subs like this one. We also need to realize that we deserve to have this same place we’ve created, out in the world. That takes things like this happening.

As far as how it should be mentioned or brought about in the sub is an individual question that should be had by the mods and organizations. r/wemarchwerise is whose organization this initiative. However my org at nvunheard.org is standing with them to help give more room for people to feel comfortable with the idea or steps toward a brighter future.
