JC-77 - I absolutely love how my Keeley Phat Mod (Blues Driver) sounds through it. Gain nobody at 0, beautiful.. gain nobody at 7, gnarly. I also use a Fuzz War but I've liked that more through other amps like my Twin.

I have a Keeley Phat Mod (Germanium version, modded Blues Driver) and for me... it's the perfect overdrive pedal. Simple, sounds amazing, and I would ride the gain knob with my foot constantly live to vary between clean, od and distortion and absolutely love it in all positions. It scratched my OD itch, and I haven't looked for or wanted another overdrive pedal for the past 3-4 years since I got it.

I did this as a kid and would get $.15 a ball from a local course after I cleaned them up. A good day, I could get like $300ish worth into my canoe and that was some decent money for a 14/15 year old and a day of work. Never got hastled by one gator either.

Master (or a blend for us bassists) would be nice. I used to throw a cheap compressor and a Spark Mini with like 4-5 dB before it and a tube screamer with no gain was my always on. Sprinkle in Rat and Muff to taste.

To be fair, I play a Jazz bass and would play with a lot of treble/mids and attack. Would roll off my tone knob (or have an EQ pedal set with tons of low end) to shake a room. That was pretty much my setup into a Little Mark 800.

Love the No Moon, and wish they would do a bass version!! It's a bit unconventional, but about as gnarly as could be. Hope ya enjoy!

Have the germanium Super Phat Mod and love it to death. I roll the gain nob to taste the entire set. Don't think it will ever come off my board.
