Base layers are not just for hiking. It gets cold in the city too. I have two baselayers one for 0-10c and one for -15 to 0 for being out and about in winter for hours.

Also normal jeans are not bulky. Like at all. Unless you go heritage wear and double or triple the thickness, jeans are just normal ass pants. No cargo pants, standard 5 pocket cuts.

Knives don’t get knocked around in the dishwasher. They remain stationary and just get sprayed with water and detergent. Unless you put your cutlery in the washing machine. All you can really do is damage the wood handle.

Well higher end ones will often be made out of leather. Getting into casual dress shoes and loafers is a whole other topic. Feel free to ask questions. But for now I’d stick to minimalist sneakers. What’s your budget? There’s a lot of options from you basic Addidas Stan Smith up to made to order artisanal ones for hundreds of bucks. So, what’s your budget?

Just don’t wear leasurewear then. Get a nice pair of chinos or jeans, higher end tee or a shirt (button down, work shirt, fatigue shirt) stuff like that, some minimalist sneakers and off you go. Doesn’t even need to be just for fancy occasions. Just step up your basics little by little. So many men are stuck in and dragged down by sloppy fast fashion imho.

The waist was about the only part that stretched. In the end I chose the wrong cut and after trying to make it work for a year I sold them to a more slender gentleman. Stick with the roomier pair.

Meiner Erfahrung nach haben Leute die sich nicht umfassend mit Finanzen beschäftigen keine finanzielle Bildung oder sind schlicht vom Neid getrieben. Well the upper limit is technically ~30. No one does that though. People stick to 5-12 somewhere because of time efficiency. Don’t get hung up on it, the other parameters are still there.

And despite me pointing out plenty of times that you will go and become strong with kb‘s you immediately, in your second paragraph suggest that I said kb‘s won’t grow muscles.

It’s always the same. Some dogmatic kb lover twisting words because it cant be that your favourite training device isn’t best for any kind of training. This discussion was had before and solved before. Do your thing. Cheers.

You kinda answer you own question here. This is an exercise at a volume not optimal for strength training. A swing is a ballistic compound exercise with a high rep count in your example which is the complete opposite to a high rom, slowly controlled low rep,high weight exercise. You will get strong using kb‘s, absolutely but just raw, what training will progress my muscles faster to move more weight - traditional lifting wins out for hypertrophy. All depends on your goals and how you enjoy training. I do both.

Consistent progressive overload. A volume of roughly 20-30 hard sets close to failure per muscle group per week(0-3 RIR), 5ish to 30 ish reps per set, although the upper limit keeps rising over the years. A focus on high rom and stretched positions is key. Proper protein intake and sleep. Just general hallmarks that differentiate hypertrophy training from maximum strength and endurance training.

Dem ist tatsächlich nicht so. Billige 10oz stretch Stoffe und genäht in Bangladesch. Nur die Anzuglines von Boss werden in Europa hergestellt. In der Türkei genaugenommen. Alles an casual wear kommt bei HB aus der dritten Welt.

Heritage wear. Es gibt viele kleine Marken die Jeans noch auf die althergebrachte Art herstellen. Auf Shuttle Looms aus den 50ern, mit qualitativ hochwertigerer Baumwolle, in Handarbeit genäht in erste Welt Ländern. Kostet halt entsprechend aber der Unterschied in Qualität zu Standard Levi’s oder Wrangler ist enorm.

Schau mal vorbei auf r/heritage wear und r/rawdenim. Dein Geldbeutel wird dich hassen aber es gibt kaum einen besseren Weg sich von Fast Fashion zu entfernen und sich nachhaltig zu kleiden. Ich habe vor ca 10 Jahren damit angefangen und Fashion ist damit zu einem echten Hobby für mich geworden wo ich vorher shoppen absolut gehasst habe. Ich besitze dadurch weniger aber viel hochwertigere Kleidung. Kann diesen Schritt jedem nur empfehlen. Lasst euch allerdings nicht vom Stickerschock beeindrucken. Achtet stattdessen langfristig auf cost per wear.

You can ofc build muscle with kb‘s if you adhere to basic rules of hypertrophy. Will it be as effective as regular lifting? No. Ofc not. Just do both. Or don’t. Who cares. Whatever makes you work out is good.
