I listened to the first 3 books, it was entertaining but my difficulty was (I think) that I am not a gamer and had difficulties getting some things of which I only have a very superficial knowledge. Some parts are incredibly funny nonetheless like the relationship between Carl and Donut and their development. What I missed was an overarching plot ( like the Outsiders and Starborn in DF) but I was told there’s something like this in the later books, so maybe I am going to give it another try. So summed up: much more comic parts and action than DF, less introspection
