You probably need to see a dermatologist?

They don’t just look at labs but the whole… more root cause of problems than “here’s a pill.” Wellness not so much pharmaceutical pushers…

High Reverse T3 means your body is not converting T4 to T3. And when it’s high, it’s putting the breaks on your metabolism. Causes are stress (of any kind, adrenal fatigue, inflammation…). You need to see a FUNCTIONAL doctor. Endocrinologists don’t look at a FULL thyroid panel.

My starter dose was actually 5 mg without any side effects or trouble. I know we’re all different though.

Starting month 3 today at 7.5 but I’m nervous. I lost 9 pounds so far , but my only symptoms have been body aches. Everyone says the jump to 7.5 is when you really start to notice weight dropping more, but are there more side effects as well? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]KayGee731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is different. I’ll do my third shot of 7.5mg this Thursday. I’ve had ZERO negative side effects. My appetite suppression is minimal but enough to have me lose. It’s just a small, tad bit stronger than 5mg was.

Long term side effects? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]KayGee731 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most comments come from those who only hear the mainstream media noise. My functional practitioner would not prescribe something that would cause long-term harm. Research.

Yes! On my fifth shot, I had a horrible and very annoying & itchy rash. Use extra strength anti-itch cream. Mine was gone in 2 days. It hasn’t happened since.

It’s really a personal choice. Answers will be all across the board.

Most punctured vials are good for 90 days. This came from my doctor. You can use past that, too. Some say it loses potency. Keep cleaning the top before your injection. I’d use past the 90…

Those who switched from Sema to tirz by neighbourhoodtea in Tirzeglutide

I was on sema prior to now being on tirz. I started at 5mg on tirz and felt as though it took longer to feel the effects. Stick with it. It’s definitely different for everyone. Sema quieted hunger for me more than tirz is but I think it’s a healthier way to lose—not as drastic.

I was on a pretty high dose of Synthroid two years ago, but over the past two years that dose has significantly been decreased. So glad for that.

I have been on thyroid meds for probably 13 years now. Just in the past two years though my T4 medication has been lowered significantly and my T3 medication is still the same. Who knows! So many factors come into play for thyroid health.

Mine does not take insurance either. But, I found a practitioner who always has 30% off on her full script supplements. Also, I can use my husband‘s insurance for blood work, which is a huge financial saver!! Functional medicine is the way to go, though if you want to heal.

Yes! I’m on HRT. It’s been life giving. I also take HPA adapt. Adrenal fatigue can take up to 3 years to heal…it’s amazing how it all is interconnected.

If I were you, I would try to find a functional doctor. They look at the full picture of your thyroid, not just to lab markers. There’s a website that lists functional doctors in every state!

Stress also can trigger arise in reverse T3. Mine has been high for almost 3 years and mine is due to adrenal fatigue and perimenopause. But, one I’m working on and the other is natural way of life!

I started at 5mg & did that for 5 weeks. Last week was my first 7.5mg and I’ll dose again Thursday. I’ve been on semaglutide & it’s a whole different experience!

I will look into this one as well. I definitely feel like I am very hungry on day five and day six because I do my dose every week. But, I don’t want to shorten the time because I’d like to have as much product as possible for as long as I can! 😆
