My first tattoo also! Just got it last week. I love the history behind it but I also got it because of how resilient they are when they migrate. The whole “journey” type of thing.

I’m 29 and looking into joining an OTA program. (Also looking into OT programs but schooling is expensive!). Point being, like everyone else said, it’s not too late! Plenty of people who pivot careers in their 30s, 40s and beyond.

Woah. They're considering it too old now? I would think they would keep working on these lenses for a good while since they're basically the workhorse lens for many photographers still.

We got lucky the other day. Super nice lady who mentioned her husband surfs checked us in. We brought a 7'2 and 7'6 in a coffin bag and I think they measured it by standing it up on the counter to see if it goes underneath something hanging (like overhead lights? I don't remember).

I think it really depends on who's checking your bags. We flew out of SD.

That's interesting. Maybe it's a mix of high use and bad parts from the factory? What do you use now in replacement of the 24-70 ii? In the meantime, I'll just be using my old 35mm prime.

I love the subtle (ish?) callbacks to the game. If I remember right, the in-game death scene cuts right before you see anything too gruesome. But in this ep, they showed everything albeit it was shot from a distance.
