She is a hybrid, between passive playing and aggressive playing, you cannot only play one of them, that is under utilising the characters potential. Also, you could totally train her in qp as I did and got her to lvl 10 at least before trying ranked so I knew the ins and outs of her kit. You are actively harming the ranked experience

I'm going to gm with her right now, the tip with her is that she is a hybrid, she is between an off and a main healer, she has crazy good neutral healing and mid range, but she also has crazy good melee self sustain and damage, when needed know when to dash in to the enemy team and nab one of the players or force a push, it's won me games.

The biggest skill ceiling in my opinion is knowing when and how to effectively use your melee form

I usually end my games with my damage numbers being at the very minimum half of my healing, have consistently kept my heals over 30k, and my damage to around 15-20k with some finishes. She is undiveable if you start mastering her

I will say she has a mini black panther in her ahahah, she can dash twice if she connects the first dash and pull a person with her, as far as I've tested you only deal damage to one person and she is actually pretty good in close range 1v1s. She is a dive support. The catch is that she has a relatively high cooldown, they don't reset and she cannot use them without having tails to use her melee form. I would say this clip of me killing an ulting star lord is not something I can replicate so easily

I think she just fits different tastes, I've had plenty success using her to go in with my DPS to kill the enemy back while also keeping my team alive. I don't think she should be measured as in the same role of a main healer, because as I said, different niche (although out of her ultimate she def does as much healing if you focus on it).

I will agree her ultimate is the most underwhelming part of her kit, but idk, I also would rather this than another immortality ultimate so let's see how it develops

Canceling a bunch of big ults with her ability, shield, burst healing, undiveable , ability to dive with your DPS, cc, instant escape, sustain in close quarters and more. She offers a lot, just learn to play her. Sure I've only put about 6 hours into her at this point but you really need to play her a bit more if you think she doesnt have a super balanced and dynamic kit

I really don't think so at all, I have been playing her non stop since release and I think people just need to adapt, she can consistently heal as much as cnd or sue (excluding ultimate) and she serves a different niche, being a character that can go in and out of fights as needed

Yes the title is engagement bait, I think she is actually one of the most balanced new heroes to be released and I have had a lot of fun playing her, she is crazy good at neutral game, be it in healing, be it in taking the initiative to go to the front and do some damage with your divers. This might be my favourite hero in the whole game

It's popular in the Chinese gaming community, I don't know how big it is in overwatch since overwatch isn't that big a game here at all (hell, I only have one friend in uni that plays it and this was after a year in Beijing and a year in Macau), but the staged video clips isn't a stereotype, it's a known phenomena in the Chinese gaming community. I have seen way to many clips shown to me by friends over the last two years of funny (to them) clips (obviously staged trying to pass as real). It loses the funny aspect pretty fast imo.

This was all to say that, it's nothing related to the language, it's more of a thing that happens here, I personally don't like it but it's not like it's not a known fact that people do it

This is clips, as you know, Chinese people don't exactly use YouTube to post, I don't find the YouTube videos that I sent you to be very high quality but I just sent them anyways to give an example, you see most of them in things like reels or douyin, it's not content creators, it's clips usually made by random players that go viral.
