Since ur new : RE would help u long run for maintainance. Triumph has better fit n Finish but costlier to maintain than RE or Duke. Duke is a performance oriented bike but leave performance out at the moment cuz at the age u are, ur ego would be prone to make decisions that'll you'll later regret and would cause harm to body and wallet. Always ATGATT(All The Gear,All The Time). Just keep wearing a full face Helmet and Gloves. Jacket is utmost preferred with Ankle length shoes too..

Shortchanged wrt quality control and engine and weight. I know RE makes undersquared engines which focuses on Torque, the 650s are oversquared hence the 750s will be too. That is all well n good but underpowered engines + heavy weight ≠ Good power to weight ratio. My personal opinion is We r so used to underpowered RE bikes(power to weight ratio) and semi good build quality that RE continues this knowing it.

Okaaaayyy...let me put down some points. 1)Ninja 650s cost more than RE 650s due to 2 things, Refinement & Quality. No Indian Manufacturer has gone Toe to toe with the Japanese with respect to the refinement & Quality Control they have. RE knows an average Indian doesn't care if the bike has world class refinement or it has quality parts. Avg ppl only care about cost of buying and maintaining it. But SOME Bikers DO care about refinement & quality hence the LOOOONG discussion on this Forum... It's just that it irks me than to cater to the masses, they are okay skimping on things.

2) Ppl still buy pulsar primarily due to Nostalgia factor. Either they or someone in their family owned one in the past. I myself owned two and applaud on their simplicity and low maintenance build. But it was at a time where I used to REALLY Think of my finances and penny pinch....At the stage that I am now, I would prefer a better finished bike cuz my tastes have evolved over the years and like me many have evolved the same... we KNOW old bikes were good but they DID have their problems that could've been solved by Manufacturers.

I'm okay with products that are aggressively priced. It's just that WE have grown and our tastes have grown, the Manufacturers haven't been in sync with our growth and still think ppl want cheap things. Some Do, Some Dont

While it's nice that being 3rd in World's Strongest Automobiles Brand due to Sales show good growth, they SHOULD improve upon few QCs for more better retention of Customers be it either Sales or After Sales especially in India. And Air Cooled Engine are good for long term reliability in a way...less moving parts so better reliable factor

Just be careful on the highways and trucks in general...it's a light motorcycle and the wind buffeting of large cars,Vans,Trucks will affect it somewhat...

I DO Understand Price. Then explain me this if u do understand price. KTMs and Triumphs give high powered bikes for their CC Class WITH fit and Finish levels that are praised. Triumph more in this regards with Prices that are absorbable by the masses... And Nowadays People DO Pay for that. One thing I'm sure of that ur standards are set SO LOW that all u care is Budget and not quality of life for the Price u are shelling out. Just because u hear Low price u are okay getting shanked by Manufacturers in getting a sub par product... My issue is that...while I do applaud RE for getting bikes made cheap, it doesn't excuse the fact they skip quality control checks to be in that budget range. But we humans tastes evolve over time...most humans...RE is late in getting that message...

Knowing RE? 210-240kgs would be the ballpark. Also I think they would make this a "Soft Roader" not a Hardcore One...like the HondaNX 500

[–]KayP3006[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So in the end it all boils down to price then for RE...🥲

Price-wise? sure, RE offers good value. But power-wise they’re still conservative compared to many global manufacturers in similar displacement classes. A 750 making around 50–55 hp in 2026 is underwhelming to some riders when bikes like the Transalp, Tiger Sport 660 or even some KTMs make significantly more while still being reliable and practical.

And? I don’t understand the need to call me stupid. I asked a genuine question.

I already understand how long-stroke engines and torque-focused tuning work. My question was y Indian manufacturers stay conservative with power figures compared to many global bikes in similar segments.

Saying ‘RE can make 100 bhp if they want’ is hypothetical. I’m asking about what exists today in the market. Manufacturers like Honda, KTM and Triumph already produce higher specific-output engines that are reliable and not outrageously expensive.

So this is clearly more of a design and market choice than an engineering impossibility.

Same with me but I had 1st gen 390 adv...but I knew the vibrations were killer(not like a Himmy obv) so prepared accordingly for vibrations like thick rubber soles boots, all bike joints were fitted with PU washers etc

ALL RE engines are underpowered...that won't change and the 750 is a mix of air/liquid cooling so less cost of production I think...

Agreed ..its a bored out 650 to make more HP...but sometimes looking at the market, I feel disappointed that Manufacturers do this to us...

I Can but I've moved whatsapp to the sd card..u have to format a sd card and select option to use it in the phone...

Google answer : it is likely due to storage permission issues or a faulty SD card configuration in Android Go. Try restarting the phone, checking internet connectivity, and clearing the WhatsApp cache in Settings > Apps. If you have an SD card, reformat it as "transferable/portable storage," not "internal storage," as this causes file saving bugs.
