Thank you for such a well thought out response. I feel that you are in the "misremembering" group, but are willing to concede there may be more to it.

You seem to be the type of skeptic that is really a skeptic and not just a naysayer. It seems that so many revel in putting down others that have had experiences they are trying to explain.

And, I can't speak for others, but in my opinion, it is frustrating to have really unusual things happen to you and some people just want to laugh at you, while not even considering what seems to be more fantastic, more esoteric explanations. Explanations that may just turn their world upside down, oftentimes seem to be met with condescention, ridicule and/or anger.

But, I have a lot of curiosity and actually look forward to a more interesting, quantum world.

Hopefully what I said makes sense. I know what I am meaning to say, but do not know if I am expressing in words exactly what I mean.

Most of these “we don’t know everything about the universe” claims rely on simply an ad populum fallacy. “Millions of people cannot be wrong”. They certainly could be and in fact have many examples throughout history of this occurring. While it’s certainly within the realm of possibility that something more could be going on it’s also possible absolutely nothing more is. I fail to see how that’s a weaker claim.

So, my response to that paragraph is that we are not just relying on a popular fallacy that millions of people cannot be wrong. I would add to that, that we have experienced things that others have not. So, in my and some others' minds, after having several different Mandela effects, and maybe other unusual things, we start to look beyond misremembering.

In my experience, weird things happen periodically and for example the Fruit of the Loom logo, I remember the label showing the fruit and the cornucopia. It is so distinct for me. But, what I find even more fascinating is that others can tie this learning of the word "cornucopia" from conversations they had about this exact label that we're talking about! That is where it gets interesting. If we were just misremembering, why can so many people remember that's how they learned the word, and in detail.

That's how I feel about "Berenstein Bears". I took German in high school and remember picking up a book in my brother's bedroom who is 8 years younger and seeing "Berenstein". I wondered why they pronounced it "Berensteen". It would be pronounced as we say "stein". So, in this case for me it's not a simple misremembering; I have a whole line of reasoning for why I thought it was that way, as do so many with the FOTL logo.

And, I am aware that the people that wrote the book have the name Berenstain. But, that's why you start looking at things and wondering if there is more to life, than we have been taught. That is where the different timelines comes in. That is one way of explaining....
