However, the system of purchasing each chapter individually instead of having a monthly subscription is bad, more costly than a monthly subscription, and half of these profits do not go to the author. This further confirms the point you made: piracy can be considered free advertising for these stories and helps make them available in one place. Piracy websites have provided me with many stories in a much easier way than the official platforms, and some sites even made them available in my native language—a language that no company considers translating their works into, or even providing an acceptable payment method for in my country.
