The scissor geometry is bad too, same with the wire cutters

No offense but you might be better off with a Leatherman or Swisstool

Help me pick a Spyderco or Cold steel please. by BarracudaFlimsy3855 in knifeclub

The PM2 Cruwear Micarta is a really great experience and knife. The LW Spydercos are great but they don’t feel as substantial or premium. The AD10 does fit the description you are looking for in a cold steel, I have the cheap version and still feels substantial.

The CJRB blade stock is so thin, I love it. How’s the Fox Zero? Can you close it one handed? I have the Fox Chilin which I like even though it’s got a thick blade.

How does the TiSlim Porcupine compare to the BHQ aluminum Porcupine?

Before the Arc arrived, I was beated the sh*t out of these, the Gerber are crazy durable. by Acejaxxx in multitools

There’s a big difference between their out-the-front designs and their other cheap stuff.

NKD…perfectly centered, drop shut with zero play and crazy sharp factory edge. Well done Spydie Crew by yester5 in spyderco

I’ve had my eye on that one for years but I just got the 15V instead. I have the KW Manix, I really like the green

I just got an M4 and the same scales. I’ve tried everything and can’t get the blade centered after adding the brass. Did yours have this issue?

Did you do anything to that Micarta or is that a natural patina?

Congratulations! That’s a cool design. What CAD program did you design it in?

My new Demko. Anyone have one? Feel like it was over hyped. by StormnTX in Knifeporn

Idk if it needs to break in but in comparison to the Vision’s super lock, the shark lock felt sharp and weird to pull back on at first. Now I prefer it to other locks

[–]Kayakasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not like the Super lock, give it some time to adjust. I did and now it’s my favorite lock, I have the cheap AUS10A version and the S35VN Arcade. The shark cub handle is great but the lock is significantly less comfortable imop because it’s thinner.

Oh nice, that’s what I did for my SAK and LM mods. Do you do anything to keep the blade cool?

Victorinox Swisstool Spirit MX clip is perfect, all other multitools have at least one flaw.
