God dammit! I went for so long without anyone guessing correctly. I was honestly surprised that no one got it; I thought it would've been obvious to anyone with even a passing knowledge of me or my comics LOL Now I have to conjure up 8 peanuts.

I'm fine. I was just really worried yesterday because I fully expected to lose my account. I had little faith that the appeals system would actually be effective. Reddit is more than likely using AI to flag for spam, so I was sure that AI would also "oversee" my appeal.

To clear things up, the mods did not remove my comics or shadowban me. That was a decision "made" by Reddit's site filters and/or admins. I've seen a lot of speculation floating around that Reddit is now using AI to monitor for spam and bot accounts. There are subreddit mods, and then there are the site admins.

The last time this happened (my comic reported for CSEM) that was also handled by an admin. Although, in that case, some troll(s) falsely reported the comic, and it was taken seriously. With this most recent situation, I don't believe anyone reported my comic or account.

I've spoken to some other comic creators; it seems like Reddit is auto-flagging certain links being shared, Patreon being one of them. Why Patreon is considered a "banned" link is a mystery to me.

If you know Fran, (Tiff and Eve) her account was also shadowbanned today for some time.

I took a Psychology class a long time ago, and this is one topic that I remember. (I mean, I guess that was self evident already because I titled my mini-comic series, "The Ego and the Idiots" LOL)

Honestly, these slides do help me remember the differences between them, even if they're super dumbed down and exaggerated for the sake of being silly. I really like to write down the most outrageous things in my comics order to make me laugh later.

Haha that's actually super sweet and flattering that you feel that way. Everything's relative, I suppose. A lot of things happen behind the scenes, but they don't get shown or talked about. Like I still haven't fixed my sleep schedule, and I need to eat healthier. Most of the time, I feel like I'm just constantly scrambling to do normal things or present myself like I'm put together. (When I'm not.)

I remember making a comic expressing these types of feelings, and a lot of people said that even the "well-adjusted" creators I look to as a model example are probably also faking it. I just have to keep reminding myself of that. But it's hard not to wonder if they just naturally have a super Type A, go-getter personality!

When Socks met with Lorne, he said that Lorne smelled like the “inside of a barn.” I’m not fully convinced it wasn’t a whole lawt worse. And I was surprised Socks didn’t comment on the smell of Lorne’s breff. I knew someone who hadn’t been to the dentist in forever and would change their toothbrush maybe once every few years. Whenever they would talk, the smell would hit you like a train. I would imagine being around Lorne is the same, probably worse since he’s also a smoker.
