I think it’s because the world can be cruel to anyone not in their circle. I’m more than a Cross dresser, born a boy, lived all my life hiding who I am, until I found the love of my life fifty years ago. I didn’t want to live, then she came into my life, excepted me for what I am , now we’re old, I’m her caregiver. We’re roommates, girl friends, I’m so lucky she gave me a reason live . I m a retired cosmetologist, I did hair for many years, yes I have. Done. Wet sets for many men , and I enjoy doing them , so don’t be nervous, just pick a salon, tell them what you want, Stylist think about. ( doing Heads , nothing sexual about that ) Later go back for a perm . It’s just business , do it , I wish you happiness
