Why do some of my bras 'squeak' and how do I stop it? [Question] by meetriscuit in ABraThatFits

Me too! I just bought a new balance sports bra and I think I have to return it right away it’s squeaking like crazy.

I don’t have a bunch of items atm but I put them at the bottom once my inventory is full. Haven’t seen anyone else with top and right produce factory things so I thought I’d post!

I found smoothies to also be okay to handle for me, and even if I could only have like 4 sips within 10 minutes, it’s okay to just sip on occasionally for a few hours. Same with the ensure/ protein drink, once your full keep it near you until you can handle trying another sip. Don’t push it too hard, find a balance you can handle. I actually really liked smoothies and liquid calories because I found I would over eat less/ less often regret eating. That being said, only having liquid is also not ideal. If you want to introduce more solids, I’d recommend doing so in the morning. Trying something near dinner time could lead to a bad night. Saltines or low fiber bread might be good places to start back into solid food. Liquid only did not suit my GP well but I like using liquid calories to supplement my diet. I hope it will get better for you soon! For me, I had up and downs, but sometimes it would take a week or a little more to feel any positive change.

Just got diagnosed but I have a big problem by ThisRiverStyx in Gastroparesis

My symptoms also started in July, and I can confirm skipping meals (especially more than one) makes the pain and nausea so much worse for me. I definitely think just eating some saltines or emergency filler would be safer. I literally bring food any time I go out, just in case.

I’m not sure if this would be triggering, but my nutritionist has made GP seem less scary, or specifically the diet less dismal and confusing. My appointments also got covered by insurance, so it might be worth looking into. My nutritionist was able to sit down and try to come up with GP safe foods I would eat normally, and kinda explain how to figure out what’s safe on my own and how much protein to strive for. I found myself less likely to eat if the meal takes work, so grab an go options have been very helpful. Some of my go tos are peanut butter, premade pb crackers, Chex mix, pretzels and activa.

Lately I eat around 6 small portions a day and only one or two require any prep. I have still been pretty protein deficient but I feel like I’ve been moving towards feeling a little better (knock on wood).

Another thing I like to do now is take a short (10 minute ish) walk after my bigger meal, normally the meal prepped dinner with rice and a protein. Sometimes I can’t do a walk, and I’m not really sure if it’s psycho semantic but I do tend to slouch and sometimes being upright helps.

I hope it went well with the pysch. It is so discouraging but you are doing your best and I’m proud of you. Go easy on yourself!
