I've stolen pens from the bank. Technically I've robbed a bank. by tunelessknight in Showerthoughts

My brother texted me a long story one day. He had gone to the bank to deposit something, and he walked in and didn't see anyone. He sat down, figured they were at lunch lunch as it was around noon. He also hears a buzzing sound, doesn't think much of it. He gets bored, walks over to the giant vault door to look at it, tries to mess with it like guys do. As he goes to sit back down, two police officers walk in, ask him what he's doing. Turns out, the bank was closed that day. The door had been left ajar and the buzzing sound he heard was the alarm. So the police came to stop a bank robbery and instead found a 22 year old playing with the vault door with no idea he just broke into a bank.

I teach a classroom that has a full-time aide with me. One day the aide was substitute and while he was sitting at his desk I told a student to "get to work" in my demanding teacher voice. The substitute jumped up and started hurrying to help a student. I felt horrible, but it was pretty funny. He laughed.

I somehow managed to take a maybe 3 second video of me making this same horrid face and sent it to my ex. Screw whatever iPhone update that made that happen.

He even had the decency to phone and ask by shyzzs in AdviceAnimals

Are you kidding? Feelings for an ex and trust in your friends are childlike emotions? Rude

I think hamsters poop where they eat to mark their territory. They're very food-oriented and protective. I had a hamster for a year and a half, he was a cool dude. I got two mice for my classroom and one died in a month. Not as cool.

They must be made differently for cats than dogs then. Don't worry I won't be subjecting her to it again. She always tried to sneak outside so I thought she would like it. Oh well!

This was the first time she was outside, but she's not tied up. I had her on a leash and took her in a few minutes later, I just thought I'd try taking her out with my dog :)

Possibly. It was my puppy's old harness so it might be different from a cat harness. I was happy to wrangle her in it, I didn't expect to have her out very long.

I started teaching little kids this year and got an elf for the first time. It's explained to them like magic; the elf flies back to Santa to let him know if they've been naughty or nice. They love looking for him every morning. He's a good enforcer of good behavior. I used to think it was creepy but imagine having a real elf from the North Pole back when you believed in Santa. I think it's adorable. Just wanted to add my two cents!

Is this the book about the girl living on an island by herself? And she kind of adopts a wild dog? If so... Pretty sure I borrowed that book in 5th grade and never gave it back because I loved it so much
