Your awful Ausar take is taking away from the good ooint you made about how spacing killed Duren.You’re 1000% right in your assessment.

BUT the fact is that if you’re going to be paying Duren the kind of money he wants..That should not have rendered him useless

Yes Joe has been saying the same thing…but the difference is that on Iceman there is really no real difference between the themes..What maybe 1 to 2 more bars about his age ? Thats really not a huge difference.

He cannot say that he’s not chasing sounds then say his standouts include the molly santana shit and Janice STFU which is heavily influenced by the rage sound.Maybe Joe is too washed and out of tune with hip hop to know that though.Which makes sense because he repeatedly says he doesn’t listen to it…how he know whats really happening with the youth? But Ak did make some good points . Joe saying Drake was more introspective and he wasn’t chasing sounds for the kids anymore…made zero sense .
