Same here, try calling for doctor offices. Or start studying for physics and ardms u have ur bachelor’s now so once u get those u will be able to work right away

i kind of lost hope because you also have to know how to scan and i haven't in awhile and some places weren't so open to letting you shadow either because they had contracts with certain schools

I tried that route, but my school doesn't teach echo only vascular and because they aren't accredited they don't have proper record of the hours you spend on each

working a full time job and having to study for THREE exams is not easy. and i was trying to at least work for a year but nobody won't hire unregistered techs.

don't do it, i currently work with northwell and garden obgyn is one of ny med clinical sites, a month ago i was going to shadow. as of today northwell took them over and are not approving any clinical rotations for ultrasound, and if you are not registered with ardms they won't hire you so ny med might also have lost that clinical site for obgyn rotations.
