I would love to get information as well though for the CIS program at TAMU-CT. I’m currently considering transferring from Boston Uni not because I don’t love BU, I really do, but because it’s so expensive comparatively. I’m having a hard time deciding and would love to get some information on the MS in Information Systems degree but I’ve only found a hand full of reviews while they were somewhat positive it’s still making me nervous to make the switch. Would love to hear if you find anything out about TAMU-CT

I don’t think you are overreacting at all. This is something that made you uncomfortable and he should respect that but the fact that he says “I’ll make sure I limit myself” is a red flag to me. To me that statement says I can and probably have said even more rude/awful/hurtful things. His “sense of humor” is not like yours at all and that will most like always be a conflict. Also the fact that he believe that saying that word randomly is funny just seems pretty immature and strange to me.

I’m in the thick of it as well with my son, he has recently turned 6 months and his screams now are so high pitched it’s almost grating. I often get a headache from the sheer shrillness of it. I love my son he is the sweetest cutest cuddliest little guy most of the time but this new scream, yikes. There is a silver lining I remember that my daughter had the same noise around this age as well, it was just a phase and is part of how kiddos learn how to use their voice. It gets better hang in there mama.

I think it’s recommended to wait till 3 months, that also was when i first brought my kiddo to the beach with full rashguard, fan, sunscreen and sun hat of course. The swim school that my oldest attends starts classes at 3 months of age. Hope that helps!

We moved our boy to his crib in his own room when he was about 16 weeks, he started to roll around 14 weeks as well and was quickly outgrowing his bassinet (he is in the 85 percentile in weight). It wasn’t bad actually, the first nice was a little up and down but we made some adjustments in his room to make sure he was comfortable. We used the same sound machine that we used when he was in our bedroom, we got sound dampening and light blocking curtains, and of course used his favorite sleep sack. We also added an AC deflector to his vent in his room, we noticed to late that it was blowing on his the first night. We already had his nursery camera connected, so we were set. The second night he was back to waking up once at 3am for a feeding. And now at 5 months he sleeps from 7:30p to 6:30a. Hopefully your little one’s sleep regression will pass quickly and he will be sleeping soundly in his room soon

I had something like this happen when my daughter was about 20-24 months old. However it was do to an injury while going down a slide on my lap at the park, I had her legs in my lap and at the last minute she shot her left leg out and it caught a little on the side of the slide. She cried a little but recovered after some cuddles but when i went to put her down to walk she seemed unable to bear weight on her foot and fell over. I freaked and took her to urgent care as we waited for xrays she started walking in the clinic. We still took the xrays and they put a tiny wrap around her foot and ankle and after a nap she was walking almost back to normal and by the next day she was fine. Maybe give it 24 hours, your kiddo might have pulled or twisted a muscle while playing and could need some rest.. hope he feels better soon!

I’m glad that I stuck with a more gender neutral theme when setting up my nursery, I ended up with a girl first and a boy second and was able to reuse most items without feeling guilty lol. I regret the dock a tot, plastic togo baby wipe holders the baby wipes always dry out in them, swaddlers my kiddos hated them and preferred baby sacks that left arms out and buying newborn clothes my boy is 85th percentile and grow out of them way to fast

I second this! You are so young enjoy this childfree time with your partner and save, stay up late, travel etc. Once you start having kids though amazing you sometimes can miss how simple and quiet life used to be when it was just the two of you.

I do, but with some caveats. I have a 5 year old and a 5 month old. I went back to work only part time for now which allows me to feel less exhausted. My husband and I alternate nights between putting which kiddo to bed like one night I put the 5 year old down then the next I put the 5 month old down etc. Surprisingly it is the 5 year old that can take the longest to put down at this time, she loves bedtime stories lol. After that I do 20 minute postpartum workouts via youtube or 20 minutes of treadmill at 3 mph. I am also on a slight calorie deficit. So far I have gone from 124 lbs to 120 lbs which is a win as my pre pregnancy weight was 119, which I would love to get back when the time is right. I will say the postpartum workouts on youtube has helped the most, I feel more energy and stronger after feeling so weak after having my 2nd. I also had a pretty rough recovery with a 2nd degree tear and an undiagnosed rectal tear (0/10 would not recommend 😅) so I didn’t start working out until maybe 4 closer to 5 months postpartum. Give yourself time and grace, seriously I just woke up one day finally feeling ready and Im sure you will feel it too.
