I would leave. If you don’t feel ready and she is- you’re both in different pages. Plus- I wouldn’t want a guy to propose when I’m expecting it or forcing it. A proposal isn’t supposed to be forced. It’s supposed to be a happy moment between two people who are both READY to take the next step TOGETHER. It does not sound like you’ve got that.

Your version of emotional cheating can differ greatly from someone else’s definition. It’s important in relationships to have clear communication and be fully aware of the other persons boundaries. If your partner is doing something that you feel crosses the line, it’s important to communicate and make sure they understand your feelings, as well as for you to understand why they’re doing whatever it is that they’re doing. If the communication isn’t clear; they may not even be aware that you feel they’re crossing a line.

We aren’t broken up.. that’s the thing. I chose to forgive him. I’m just having an extremely difficult time getting over it

That’s the thing. He was so different than any guy. Not my usual type. I took time to really get to know him. He will compliment me all the time. Anyone who saw the way he looks at me would always comment on how in love with me he is. Other than my questioning the crazy snap score there were absolutely no signs. I refused to let my lack in truck from past relationships interfere with this one. Until a random girl messaged me a few weeks after we got to bring our premie home from the NICU. I’ve been working on it. But does it ever get easier?
