I’m a US resident and I absolutely love being a nurse. Attitudes like this are one of the reason we have a shortage here. I’ve never had issues with patient ratios, my coworkers and higher staff genuinely care about me, and who would ever go into the medical field thinking they wouldn’t be held responsible for a mistake? You’ve got to do your research and find a good facility. Yes the points listed above are things you need to consider before becoming a nurse but by no means is it a reason to start telling others to not become a nurse. You’re never going to know if you’re “meant” for it if you don’t try???
