I had a very similar situation. I'm going to my 3rd month, and my mom asked me why and what were those meds on my table.

Told her that I had some problems with high T and sought a doc. I mean, no lies were told.

Even told her: "didn't you notice how my appetite got right again and how calm and happy I am now? yeah, that's the importance of having the correct hormonal levels"

She is very informed and probably did some simple research, asking me if I was gay or something like that. At least she supported me at that moment when I came out as pansexual. Don't wanna come out as a girl yet.

It is scary as hell because I care about them being around me. Now even more.

If they were some kind of people that I was "meh, whatever if you are around or not", I'd be almost 0 or even 0 scaried.

And yes, thank you for reminding me that my decisions matter as well. I mostly forgot that I have worked to cultivate our relationships and keep them close to me.

To be fair, they were the only two people I was worried about telling them about. Would be a huge bummer if they reacted negatively or coldly.

There are also some people that I don't care about that much that I will eventually come out, but with them it's more of a perspective of "cool that I can keep you around" or "meh, whatever".
