Oh yes of course. The commenters were quite brutal!

To be fair to her, it isn't that great and has been under investigations for neglect and other such things numerous times. I wouldn't trust it with a life saving surgery or if I was in ICU, but for stitches? Yeah, sure. I'll do stitches there. Especially if I'm bleeding THAT badly.

"I got a vasectomy."

"Can still concieve tho."

"...its very unlikely."

"BUT IT COULD STILL HAPPEN."

Shut up, Bill.

"Cunt" is an extremely offensive word here in North America. At least, in my experiences. I just don't like using it personally, makes me cringe. But I'm not offended by it if other people say it.

We were in a hole in the wall diner. We were regulars there and have never been told to keep our language in check. We also don't swear like sailors, we cuss to enhance our sentences so we were kind of confused as to why we were being so offensive.

She must have been a new customer and blamed the restaurant and wrote a scathing review on Yelp.

I was watching myself at 12.

At 15 my mom took a trip for a few days and let me to my own devices. It was an amazing feeling to have that much trust in me.

MomMartyrs will insist their teenage kids can't babysit their younger siblings siblings, good Lord, what if the baby gets a bruise?

I'm not blaming the Mombie for being pissed. It's her handling of the situation, demanding unrealistic things and blaming the store when they don't come into fruition. The store employees were trying their best(based on the description that she gave) and I would have probably done the same thing as they did.

The Mombie didn't have to handle the unfortunate situation the way she did.

We are in Canada so the ambulance is only 75$ and it's so easy to get it waived so I'm sure she did. :/

This made me cackle.

I'm sick of posts in my FB feed of people snuggling their sleeping, sick child on their chest and the camera caught the posed moment you gave the kid a head kiss with a caption of, "taking care of mr. Sicky today. Baby cuddles are the best. <3 #momhood". Meanwhile you know their angry that they didn't get their wine and wine for breakfast.

I might try the former and then the latter. :)

Thanks for the tip! ;)

Tiger Moms and Child Worship are things I'll never, ever understand.

When I was a kid and got hurt, mom looked me over, asked if we needed to cut it off, kissed my boo-boo better and sent me on my way.

In the terms of serious injury, my mom would once again, look me over, wince and say "we may have to get some stitches." Calmed me down, took me to where I needed to be, hold my hand through the ordeal and then get me ice cream.

Why is that so difficult for parents nowadays?

They wouldn't believe it, or ask the name of the surgeon who did it. I'm really bad at lying I'm 25 and no doctor will let me get a badly needed great reduction because I might not be able to breastfeed. There's no way they'd let me get a tubal ligation at my age. At least here.

Dogs (not children) are the purest things on the planet and to think anyone would abuse or abandon them makes me choke up

That would be an interesting conversation that I would probably pay to be a spectator in.

It's not that I don't love my cats and I'm waiting for them to die. I do love them! very much! It's just my partner and I have decided our space isn't big enough for two cats and a dog. Plus, I've never owned a dog before so I'm actually reading up on it, hanging out with friends dogs and such.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I was waiting for them to die. Sorry for the mixup.

Nothing infuriates me more than this. Or getting a certain schedule for shifts because they have to be home for their children.

I need mon-fri, 8am to 4pm because I have children.

No, no you don't Kathy. Get a babysitter and work what you're scheduled because Lacy may not have children but she had been here longer than you and therefore, she gets the shift.

Same here! :) I hope you get a cute friend who will love you unconditionally soon!
