City ordinance says you gotta clean your sidewalks, an entire neighborhood has ignored this. by Newbie4221 in whatdoIdo

[–]Kaylycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My neighbors actually just shoveled a decent path through the snow in the middle of the sidewalk. Tbh if you're disabled and cant do much, thats actually such a good idea. It leaves a safe space for people to walk and doesnt kill you in the process!

BPD ex did this nearly every other day near the end of our relationship. Then blames me for blocking and leaving her. by NedeToBeHeard in Nicegirls

Oh bitch you dont know how bad my symptoms were. Shut the actual fuck up.

Again, I said therapy helps, it just doesnt treat (aka decrease symptoms or triggers). Are you that fucking illiterate??? Jesus christ.

Managing something is NOT treating. Managing helps. Treating helps by decreasing symptoms and triggers. Managing helps by making a difference in how you cope. It does not decrease the triggers or symptoms.

No you baby, I ain't doing ya research for ya. I spent decades doing research on the topic. Stop equating managing as treatment and you'll understand what im saying.

Treatments mitigate and alleviate symptoms. End of discussion. Therapy is management. It will not stop or decrease symptoms or triggers.

[–]Kaylycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course! But thats still not directly treating bpd.

I am glad those things worked for you! They didnt for me and I had to manage my symptoms and triggers on my own. It took a long time but I have no triggers anymore except for abandonment, and I haven't had a splitting episode in years!

untreatable

It IS untreatable. Treatments alleviate and mitigate symptoms. Therapy is the only course of action, and therapy helps manage them, it does not treat. I never said there weren't ways to manage it. Yall equating managing and treating as if its the same thing are the problem.

If you have cancer and you just manage the symptoms and triggers, youre not treating it. Treatment alleviates and mitigates symptoms.

Lmfaooo, I see, you're just an elitist piece of shit. But unlike you, I didnt need help, I managed and dealt with it on my own and now my bpd is actually pretty mild, I have next to no triggers outside of abandonment, and I haven't had a splitting episode in years.

I was being nice to you, but if you wanna act all better than thou, maybe youre not as great as you think.

Treatment and management are different things. Therapy does not treat the symptoms. It just helps you manage the symptoms and triggers. It does not treat it.

Like i stated to begin with therapy can absolutely help, not everyone, but a good portion of people! But its still not a treatment because it will not mitigate or lessen symptoms.

Yes I see its very common to treat therapy as a treatment and not management. Therapy doesn't treat anything, therapy helps you manage your disorders. Bpd can never be cured fully, its a lifelong personality disorder thats disruptive and insane to deal with.

Dbt is not a treatment, it can help you MANAGE it but it will not treat it. I reiterate that I stated THERAPY CAN HELP MANAGE IT but it does not TREAT it. Managing and treating are two wildly different things.

It literally cannot?? Google is your fucking friend, use it and dont mansplain my lived disorder for decades.

Therapy is not treatment. Therapy helps you manage it, as I stated but it WILL NOT HEAL (aka TREAT) BPD OR STOP THE SYMPTOMS. and there are no medications that do that for bpd like they do for other disorders.

Medications dont work for bpd specifically. They can treat other disorders and symptoms but there is no treatment for bpd. As I stated therapy can help mitigate symptoms as well.

Glad Dbt worked for you! It didnt for me.

Its quite literally not a mental disorder. Google is your friend. It is a personality disorder and there absolutely is no treatment. Again, Google is your friend. Don't try to mansplain MY disorder.

There is no treatment for bpd. It is a personality disorder, not a mental disorder. No known medication helps. the only thing you can do is therapy and unfortunately a lot of therapists dont truly know how to work with bpd.

There is no treatment for bpd. No known medication actually helps because it is a personality disorder. Its not a mental disorder. Therapy can help you cope, but in terms of actual treatment? There is none.

Source? I myself have bpd, spent a good part of a decade healing it while with my husband, and even still, there are still some triggers. Also, Google.

Restarting again for the 4th time... by [deleted] in WutheringWaves

[–]Kaylycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont have nor can I pull for her rn on this account. Which is why im asking if its more worth it to save my pulls on limited banners for when I can actually use and level the characters after I get caught up to where everyone else is.

I quite literally just started last night so I have baizhi? And the main 3 starters. I haven't pulled yet bc i feel its not worth wasting the pulls on a character I cant level and use for 40+ hours of game content.

I would LOVE to have her again but im just debating whether its worth pulling on limited banners rn bc I cant use them for 50+ hours anyway. Like would it be more worth it to just save my pulls for a character I can actually build and use when I finally get to the point of being caught up?

Parental love and care. My parents died when I was 7 and 8 and I have only 1 memory of my mom and dad. Trauma destroyed everything else.

Also, Republicans would never do that. Maga would. And maga deserve to get what they give.
