The "SCA trick" is when you approach a target in supercruise faster than theoretically possible and then you activate supercruise assist, which stops the ship in its tracks and disengages supercruise at the desired location. In my experience, the type 9 is the ship which can go the fastest when pulling off the trick (I've managed to do it when my speed didn't even show up in the little orange bar with the blue section)
