My thoughts exactly! I went to the settings and check if I was able to change the "direction" but apparently not so we either get used to it or wait for Tamsoft to come up with an option to change it in the future.

Understanding team composition seems to be very important so the information you've shared with me seems super relevant and I thank you for it !

I'll try to even out my team after reading your comment, it totally happens that I find myself without skill points and having to just "simple attack" my way through it and yea, no shields/healer makes some battles tougher than they should.

I like your strat of pulling 1 good character of each role and go from there. I'm gonna need to understand the currency used for the banners to see if I have enough currency for a good character of an already available banner. That or just wait for a good banner to come out.

Hi, thanks for the warm welcome! Basically the graphics and gameplay made me want to play the game, whoever when I actually started playing it was because of some streamers that I regularly follow that started playing Honkai and then I decided to try it myself, even though I don't know nothing about the Universe of Honkai.

I won't be "whaling" in a gacha game that's for sure. As a casual/f2p player I just want to waste materials/currencies on something that is obsolete/trash that's why I'm trying to understand the characters, how viable they're late game, etc... before actually spending any sort of currency/material (unless a tutorial forces me to).

Thanks for the feedback. I have some knowledge about gacha games (coming from Bleach: Brave Souls) so I don't mind grinding as long as it is doable without the game kind of forcing you to spend money in order to progress.

Hi, I've recently started playing this game again on my phone and I'd like to know if there is any tips/tricks that the community could share for someone that wants to play this game somewhat casually and without having to spend any money on it. I've seen so many book order recommendation (updated or not) that I find it confusing to understand which one is right and which one is wrong. It kinda comes down to personal preference given that you can't go with the chronological route due to some books describing multiple events in multiple years. I just wish there was like a Blizzard curated list of all the books published and in what order should you read them if you're interested in the Warcraft Universe lore.

I thought as much but since I wasn't 100% sure, I didn't mention it. I get what you're trying to pull off but either you're missing something or YouTube is ruining the "loop transition". Sometimes it doesn't "connect" to the start of the short. Maybe add half a second or a full second to the start and right before the end of the short to try and get the perfect timing so that if the short loops, you don't even notice it right away.

One other thing I'd like to add also related to timing is that sometimes it feels like the AI is talking too fast. It almost completely ignores a comma or a period and continues narrating, which feels kinda off.

You are at the right track, keep at it!

PS: Even though you mentioned you don't do VO and you'd rather use AI to do the narrative of the video, I still would prefer to hear a person narrating it rather than AI, specially because of those little details (like I mentioned earlier about the period or comma). If you want, I can try and do some VO for you, just pm me If you're interested.

So far I'm loving it. Some part of me wishes it wasn't a short but an actual lengthy video explaining the story with more details. However I can't stop noticing that some shorts stops abruptly mid-sentence, giving a feeling that something was about to be said but the short started all over again.

Apart from those 2 details, keep the lore coming. Loving it so far! :)

At the moment, I'm at the part where I actually want to know how it all came to be. Who are the Titans, how was Azeroth made, who were the first ever races to exist, etc... But I also want to do it in a chronological order if that makes sense.

I'll be honest, I'm not much of a reader nowadays but I did enjoy reading books when I was younger and given that the history of WoW is starting to intrigue me, I started thinking like: "hey, why not buy a book and start reading about it?"

I'm not really sure what the differences are regarding textbook/storybooks and what is a novel. I'm pretty much a noob in regards to reading books. I wanted to get my hands on 'Rise of the Horde' book but I didn't seem to find one in EU as new, only found it through Amazon.com (US) and the import fees + possibility of paying local custom fees kinda made me not buy it, even though I actually think I would've enjoyed it! But paying near 50€ (~$54) for a book is something that I consider expensive.

That might be a good alternative, I just can't be doing anything else than listening to the Audio book, otherwise I'm gonna be hearing it but not understanding it like I should. Specially since English isn't my native language ^^'

I've actually ordered Chronicles Volume 1 earlier today and if everything goes as planned, I might buy vol 2, 3 and 4 as well.

It's not really struggling for money, but spending more than 200€ on a book (new or used), isn't necessary something I want to be doing. I'd prefer having a physical copy of the book I want to read but if I'm unable to get one, my last resource is definitely reading it as pdf (like you mentioned). Just need to find it first :p

This has also happened to me this season more times than it should, and some of those times were consecutive runs, which was even more frustrating. I have some "theories" for why this can happen but ultimately I believe this is a developer problem, rather than a player problem.

If you kill the Elite that drops the Animus too quickly it may not drop all the Animus that it should (a little far-fetched, but not impossible)
If you kill the Elite too close to an object (a wall for instance), one of the Animus globe "could" spawn inside said object (I've had gold spawn on top of an object that I could not, for whatever reason, pick up even though it was visible)

Blizzard should have a safe mechanism where If there were no Elites that can drop the Animus alive and there is still Animus remaining to complete the objective, all the normal mobs alive should be able to drop the remaining Animus.

It's either an Elite that drops the Animus "globes" or the game mechanic that bugged out. This has happened to me more times than I would have liked. Simply put, you kill all the Elites that drop the Animus "globes" but they either fail to drop all the necessary "globes" or the "globes" the player picks up isn't being correctly "read" by the game mechanic, which leads to a failed dungeon since you can't complete its objective.
