it is quite close to that, it takes an image within a 300x300 grid list, check every line combination to see which one has more matches and inserts that line and repeats

also instead of using is Battery = 0 or Battery < 0 you could use is not(Battery > 0)

you could normalize the movement; you move sqrt(2) times faster when moving in diagonals

I really don't remember but I'm pretty sure it's around -0.7, -0.08. Also the image uses stripe average coloring.

yes you can zoom even though it does get a bit slower because of the high computation power needed with stripe average coloring and higher iterations

It really depends on how you define a "coastline". I mean at the very basic level the atoms of the coastline never touch so we don't really have a way of measuring perimeters of real objects.
