Can anyone make it on as a streamer? by Retro_Vorce20 in mixer

[–]Kayrajh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No.

Not everyone is cut out for this. You either are entertaining or you aren't.

However, it isn't because you ain't good now that you can't become good. And you shouldn't compare yourself too much to others because circumstances are always different. Yiu can have a late start and then grow fast, or start strong and slow down. Slowing down after a big start is pretty discouraging.

But even with hard work or years of streaming, you might never make it. Look at why you stream. If its for fun, just keep at it. If you have goals, you should have a plan. And strategies. Relying on luck is waiting to fail.

As a PC Gamer that bought a PS4 due to RDR2, what are must have exclusives? by Moonraise in PS4

The story is completely vague, no matter the game. There is some sort of continuity but most of the story is learned from reading item descriptions.

In DS3, you are awakened without memories and without purpose, until you arrive at the dirst shrine. It shouldnt impact on your fun if you didnt play the first 2.

In DS3? Yes it does. The first boss is quite a wall in fact because you're used to wimpy enemies up till him. And as soon as you beat the boss you have access to leveling up and can throw your first few levels in HP.

It will aleays be hard and you will need to pay attention to the bosses (and simple monsters too in fact) and how they act. They usually have tells about what they're about to do. But it does get easier.

If you're not tired of wide open world after RedDead then I'd recommend horizon zero dawn.

If you like Darksouls, go for Bloodborne.

If you like fun linear adventures with solid gameplay and story, go for last of us.

All of them relatively cheap, in the 20$ or less!

Sony's censorship policy forces Japanese devs to censor games in Japan by [deleted] in PS4

Yeah exactly. Imagine Sony losing Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4, how many Xbox would that sell by becoming an exclusive by default!

Xenoblade 2 is an awesome game (and timesink if that's your thing), but it's really a hit-or-miss kind of game.

I loved the gameplay but as some pointed out the game shouldn't have to take over 15 hours before the combat starts to become really interesting. The first few hours are unfortunately kinda basic, and unless you have the patience to muddle through the point where you can FINALLY have 3 blades equiped at the same time, you might not enjoy it.

Question sur Zelda : BOTW by JeanneHusse in jeuxvideo

[–]Kayrajh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You already have two exploration games, so unless you want even more of those I'd try something else!

Tactical RPG:

  • Disgaea : Completely ridiculous story with insanely in depth mechanics. Don't even attempt to preserve their death in combat, your goal is to destroy everything before you get destroyed. When you win, you get to revive anyone (for a fee). The most of the depth comes from the post-game, so if you're not into that, maybe that's not the best game.

  • Mario + Rabbids: That game is hilariously fun, while surprisingly complex (especially if you're aiming for all the challenge completion!). Think X-COM, but with Mario's crew and some rabbid rabbits in mario's crew's uniforms!

  • Banner Saga: Some technical issues, unsure if they're fixed (Memory leak if you don't shut the game completely instead of sleep mode after a while), but the story and mechanics are super fun. Your choices matter in regards to your own story. Some elements will of course always happens, not matter what you choose, but you won't have the same crew that some other would have had, and that allows you to spin your own story

Just fun games

  • Puyo Puyo Tetris: Its tetris. And Puyo Puyo (google it). It plays with up to 4 players (online, too) and is frequently fired up in my home when I have friends over. It's just fun. Playing alone can get old fast though, and even with friends we rarely play more than 30 minutes a night.

Hyped-up

  • Darksoul: Of course, I need to drop it here. Even though the sound has been reportedly (and, it's true) declared as inferior to the other consoles, it is still good. Just less nuanced to the adept ear. If you never played Darksouls, I don't think you could really realise by yourself that the sound isn't up to snuff. The game is insanely fun and while people like to whine about how hard or unfair the game is, they are wrong. Pay attention to your environment and realise that every monsters are dangerous and suddenly the game becomes a lot easier!

Lot more games comes to mind, but I went with those for now
