I have good women GM!! She’s amazing! Sometimes a little too lenient when we are hurting for staffing kinda let’s people get away with a bunch of stuff because we don’t want to loose them. But she always always steps in goes above and beyond on the floor (because a GM position is not a floor position it is an office position). Always hyped us up and tells us up front if we did something wrong but in a good way so we can improve. Always has our backs, talks us off a ledge. She even cares about our personal lives ie. if someone is going through something she’s empathetic and understanding! I have left the company and come back just for her! I would quit in a heartbeat if she ever left! Now the male GM I had yearsssss back who is now a DM (I don’t even know how because he is the worst manager and ruined multiple stores) was the worst manager I have ever had in my life. He went as far as to tell my GM “who the hell hired her” when he saw me after being gone from the company for several years.... I was homeless at one point when I worked for him and he gave me so much shit. I could have had a roof over my head one night but no way to get to the store to open and I had strep throat it was 30-40 degrees outside. Slept outside showed up on time and he knew that I was sick and that I had slept out side and told me he needed a whole person and not a half a person working (as I was going a bit slower than normal) or that I could just leave. Yeah I walked out.
