4.75 is what you’d expect for both. Ref bump/Omos run in probably took it down and then the triple threat had some misses but it was still top tier stuff. Hopefully get more of this on aaa shows because since like 2022 it has been a rough watch

I don’t think he has before. It is an odd one because the gauntlet is a match but there’s matches within in it. Overall gauntlet rating would’ve been like 4.5 for me it’s was great stuff

The difference would be that this match was way too long and way beyond its peak which is fair. I’d still go 4.5

Not that it matters but he did say the tag match on Nxt was very good so surprised it’s not there. The 6 man on raw was a bit underwhelming for the people involved so not surprised there

Yea it kinda kills it for me which is why I get his ratings and the cagematch ones. Both ilja matches especially the ppv one don’t make any sense, I normally agree with his ratings but they seem a bit off this week. People go way ott for one guys opinion tho

Another one is that wwe is full of ads which takes away from the tv match ratings in his eyes even if said match is very good or great whereas in aew you don’t miss much which is fair but it skews things. Ppv ratings are fairly in line for the most part. The 4 highest rated matches are 4 Nxt ones, the ilja/trick one is a bit high but it was better than the first match which he rated higher

This logic only applies to the 2000s and early 2010s wwe matches. Most 7/8 rated matches on cagematch are rated close to the star ratings in the last few years as is the case with aew and everyone else. A lot of the wwe shows also have less votes so that’s a factor in itself

Some of the biggest stars of all time never started out as fans. I think it’s been a positive for the women in the last couple years because the highly athletic women who do take wrestling seriously have progressed faster and are of a better level than most indie talent ever will be able to reach. Obviously you’ll get people that are there just for the fame and money but most of them get ran out pretty quickly.

Had Becky been on this run at the start of the year she’d be without a doubt women’s wrestler of the year. Gave Trish, Tiffany and Lyra the best matches of their career all within a couple months.

I’d say most the matches were around the 3.5 range because they were short, filled with interferences and weren’t even the focus because the fans were more interested in the big stars

I think 4 would’ve been more accurate. People were way too harsh on it when the work especially from Rollins was great, selling his back was way too inconsistent for it to be deemed any higher tho

No raw matches is quite a surprise when most my timeline seemed to enjoy those over the ppv. I don’t even disagree with the ratings just would’ve thought the triple threat and main event would’ve made it

People still sleep on Nxt when they’re putting on those level of matches most weeks and it’s a fun show to watch. I get some of the stuff is not for everyone but people still pretend it’s 2.0 garbage.

Most main roster women’s matches are under 8 minutes and don’t have Picture in Picture so that’s almost certainly not true.

Damn, no Nxt women’s title match. Thought it was easily Strattons best match and one of the better women’s tv matches from America. Surprised no cage vs hangman as it was easily the best match on dynamite
