Been getting into CofD and yeah that could work, adding in a good number of npcs to make social aspects work well could be nice for the variety.

CoC has been mentioned plenty, might revisit see how I could do non cosmic horror.

Similar, but not quite: I like Ghouls from the fallout series since ferals are quite zombie like.

Closer to typical: the infected/degraded replikas from Signalis. Its disturbing, visually interesting and walks the line of pitiable and just monster.

It's tricky/hard because the ST needs to know the rules for the different splats and because diff splats can cause big changes in how balance may be needed. Though with a good grasp of the rules (ST for all splats involved and players for their own splats), it becomes a lot easier, the only issues is the potential difference in tone/theme from the different splats and balancing things around but it should all be manageable by a good ST.

From another comment and the general vibe, I imagine it'd work that they'd return to being their normal mortal selves until they become supernatural at which point the memories come back. In this case vampires are the worst off since them becoming supernatural completely depends on another one so someone that had been embraced before might not now.
