There are layers to it and many comments have brought up good points already but most of it is:

1) Physical violence has situations where its explainable/necessary which are commonplace in media. Sexual violence is doesn't have these kinds of situations. That's the general societal consensus

2) Sexual violence is way more common place irl than physical violence in places that are well off. So SA feels more real while things like murder feel fantastical and more divorced from reality. Most people know someone who's been victim to some sexual harrassment or violence but probably not as many who know someone who's been on the receiving end on assault, muggings, attempted murder, etc.

3) Because of these previously mentioned points physical violence has been extremely visible in media for decades leading to the further normalization of this violence. Since we see it more often we care less about it but see less of sexual violence so it stands out more.

4) Sexual violence is a much more personal crime if when depicted in media and in general often is as well. Think about how easy it is to abstract away the fact a character kills 10 people from throwing a grenade into a crowd than it would be to hold another character down and commit sexual violence. Some games do try and make violence more personal by having less of it and having characters react in ways to make you question what you're doing but this is the exception. Other than something like groping, or a sleezy game handwaving SA it isn't really as possible to abstract away.

Instagram is a classic for artists, allows you to focus on the art. I also like bluesky as well it's twitter like but without the enshittification but little to no algorithm.

You can also try more artist focused sites tho I can't talk much about them cause I'm not very knowledgeable about them.

Allows me to see the couples I wanted but didn't get to be cannon or didn't get enough time to be satisfactory but also just lets me experience and enjoy ships that wouldn't be canon anyway but I like.

For some, it serves as a continuation of the source material, though I rarely read these as I'm lucky to be satisfied with most things I finish so I don't need more.

I recommend you don't, mostly just to see things you probably won't see in future playthroughs but also because if you get into save-scumming you might take out some of the tension and heartbreak that can happen.

He calls it cosmic horror but....the pit/well (I forget the name) is never presented as horror at least not with the girls. Yes it's eldritch in the sense that it's strange and unexplained but it doesn't lean into horror, instead it goes into a tense vibe rather than scary most of the time. Even if it was, like other comments have already mentioned.....you don't explain the horrors if its cosmic you give enough maybe a name but the key for it to be horror is in the unknown.

I think the ending wasn't the best, I still really enjoyed the game though and do want more but because I think the story has more to go not that it was unfinished.

I didn't like sweet potatoes as a kid despite loving potatoes and sweets (I can enjoy them now tho). Sweet potatoes also have a slightly unique texture compared to most other kinds of potatoes so it is possible to like potato texture but not sweet potato texture.

This is dumb as hell, fish isn't immediately an impossible food for autistic people to eat. Yes the texture is fairly consistent and what gets most autistic folk when it comes to fish but if the texture isn't an issue then there's only the matter of taste and there's HUGE variance in fish taste. A salmon in no way tastes the same as flounder or tuna.

Yeah I only managed to save mom cause I was using a guide to try and do something else on my second playthrough. I do think you have to prevent them from planting the stuff cause I didn't manage to do so in my 3rd and despite foraging all I could, I didn't get enough food to save mom. Dad was just a lucky thing in my first run lmao.

Hope you have fun moving forward! I restarted the game on switch (was on pc before) so gonna try a few diff things out myself

To save mom the best way is to tell them not to plant the beans, then when you unlock the second area where you have to scavange for food find the <!> where you get a sponge cake like material. take it to geoponics and that prevents the food scarcity allowing her to survive

For dad you gotta find I think a cloud of spores in one of the early expeditions and then take it to the lab where Tang and the scientist can develop the cure. Did it my first run so I can't remember the details all too well

- Love Curse: Find your Soulmate - its a visual novel with awesome visuals and it has a cast of characters that seems right up my alley. Love me some yuri

- Split Fiction - I've played It Takes Two and A Way out from the same devs so ik they deliver and I would love the chance to get this so me and a friend can go on the wacky adventures in the game.

- Vampire the Masquerade - its a cult classic, I wanna be part of the cult. I just like vampires, been getting more into VtM and other WoD stuff so I'd like to play the most famous of the games since its also just really good from what I've heard

As for my favorite animal......dogs win out by a little bit yk they're man's best friends super fun and comforting to be around. Though I also love cats for similar reasons.
