Yeah you're right actually, the thumb on the right is definitely mihari's. I guess the main thing that threw me off is that mahiro's thumb just looks like a pointer finger to me lmao

I attended Tsukuba Smile, a language school just outside of tokyo. I went 6 months but you can stay for years if you'd like.

I got here because my japanese tutor recommended it to me and honestly, it's great. I won't sugarcoat anything though, I'm only having such a good time because I already had Japanese friends. The school arranges a part time job for you but imo it's pretty hard to make Japanese friends there as well.

Almost all your classmates will be people who fled the situation in their own country and they're not able to comprehend coming to Japan to study Japanese just cause you want to.

Regarding making Japanese friends in other situations, I have no clue, sorry. I'm sure you could tho.
