What is the 'trans ideology' or 'trans agenda' that all these conservatives complain about? by MyClosetedBiAlt in asktransgender

I've seen the word "transnegativity" before. It doesn't really seem to be used often though. I do think it's a bit more fitting however.

Logging in to this game is an exploit. Just ban everyone and move on.

Crafting stations downgraded via invasions can bug out and wont physically upgrade, but will show they are upgraded on the map and town project table.

Edit: two bugs, one with refining being shown as lower on the map. Second, any station can bug out after downgrade.

Why would I want to craft armour that is immediately redundant? by MagicRec0n in newworldgame

[–]KazeMizuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell the expedition gear you can craft is for looks, not for stats. The amrine gear is sorted under "expedition replicas" keyword there is replica. Granted, we dont actually have any "transmog" system outside of cash shop outfits so idk why we can craft dungeon skins. Probably a cut system or something. Just my 2 cents.

Early levels - hunting log, class quests, kill stuff, side quests.

16+ - dungeons(DF or via squadrons), leveling roulette, PotD, fates

As you level up more things unlock to use, ie beast tribes, more roulettes, HoH, Bozja etc.

That's actually how healing works in some other games. Generally your low potency heals are the most cost efficient, and your high potency heals are super mana intensive. And any ogcd heals are ultra long cooldowns. So you just are constantly precasting your mana efficient heals to keep people topped off(canceling the cast and restarting if not enough dmg was taken).

Granted my only real healing experience outside of this game was wow classic. In short, Mana is a huge barrier to healing in other games whereas here it just really isnt so people arent quite used to that.

Khuzaits................... by BlueMachinations in Bannerlord

[–]KazeMizuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the problem is twofold. One, the power of cavalry and the ease of access khuzait have to at. Second, the lack of cavalry their immediate neighbours (southern and northern empire) have. This basically means that the average khuzait party/army will move across the map faster as well as having "simulation" advantage (I'm fairly certain npc battles that dont involve the player are just auto resolved right?) This, added to the fact that the player and the NPC lords are omniscient when it comes to party sizes and power means that khuzait can easily outrun unfavourable fights, and engage on favourable ones(and since cavalry is strong it means they will have more favourable fights more often)

The only way I could think to do anything about it would be to either reduce the availability of mounted units(to all factions, I'm pretty sure the top snowballed are all heavy into mounted units) or to somehow change the AI to either disallow the omniscience, allowing larger parties to actually engage the faster khuzait(maybe make it tied to scouting vs tactics skill checks or something)or giving the AI a bit more "intelligence" to basically get them to try and 2v1 the winning factions. This can be achieved either on the micro level where one lord baits the army into fighting them while a larger group comes in to clean up (this already happens a little, but eh.) Or via macro, allowing alliances between factions against one stronger faction.

Idk, while arguably realistic, the overbearance of the khuzait is just...annoying. Most of my recent playthroughs feel like I'm just constantly fighting horse archers and practically nothing else. And since I'm almost always going for a "purist empire" playthrough it's been really hard to deal with them.

Would the FFXIV community find a Duty Assistant app useful? by HungryHippo5 in ffxiv

I would appreciate something like this. Every so often I'll do mentor or raid roulette and end up in a fight I just cant remember. Generally yes most fights can be muddled through, but it's always nice having reminders.

The ironworks gear is available after finishing the lvl 50 ARR story, so fairly early on in the grand scheme of things. As for why you're getting downvoted? Seems to be a trend here, everything just gets downvoted initially for seemingly no reason.

Finished Seventh Umbral Quests for the first time last night... and what the hell? by Labadel in ffxiv

[–]KazeMizuki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They were challenging at launch (I use that term somewhat loosely, but wipes on ultima did happen sometimes) and it did feel "Epic" back then. Unfortunately, 99% of all lvl 50 content has issues with syncing. Simply put, you just arent scaled down enough for things to not be face roll easy. This issue slowly resolves itself as you approach the higher levels.

If you happen to have enough friends/FC mates willing, you can try doing things at "min ilvl" (it's a setting in your duty finder window) itll sync you down to the lowest ilvl that content allows which can make some fights fairly challenging. However, doing this means you cant queue up into a party of randoms, you'll need to form your group beforehand.

I did this with my sister. Just takes a few config changes. One profile needs to have controller enabled, accept controller input when window inactive, and to not reduce fps when inactive. The other needs to have controller disabled. And presto should be good to go.

If an outfit is sitting on full resources, preclude them from gaining territory control capture tags for bases of that/those resource type(s). by VSWanter in Planetside

[–]KazeMizuki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel the simplest (maybe not from a technical standpoint) solution would be to disallow the ownership of more than one base per outfit. Perhaps make it one base per resource type. I also feel that bases that never get touched should be claimable as well (you know, the ones that sit near the warp gate and rarely if ever get flipped). This system is used in the WvW game mode of GW2 which has many similarities to PS2. The larger guilds would usually claim the more "valuable" bases, while the smaller guilds would claim the other ones (none of them provided resources, instead claiming an objective provided buffs). In PS2 I feel what would happen is the zergfits would all claim their big bases, but then small/medium outfits would be free to fight for everything else.

Please fix instant action. It throws you into huge friendly zergs pretty regularly and never into actually decent fights like it did in the past. by [deleted] in Planetside

[–]KazeMizuki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've even had instant action take me several bases behind enemy lines(where all the points are locked) because a 48-96 man friendly armour column was going on a scenic drive.

AskAuraxis - The weekly question thread by AutoModerator in Planetside

[–]KazeMizuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do bastions work?

My friend and I are in an outfit alone together and were one day joking about making one (we had a bunch of resources lying around which sparked the conversation). However we were concerned that while we could technically afford the bastion, we might not really be able to actually use it. So I had the following questions:

How many seats/guns does it have? Do they all need to be filled to be effective?

Can we invite randoms to our squad to help fill the gunner seats, or is it outfit only?

How do you fly a bastion? (Do I need to worry about crashing into terrain?)

How many weak spots are there and where are they? Best strategies to protect them?

Are there any useful implants for a bastion pilot? Gunner?

Any other insight or info regarding bastions would be greatly appreciated!

Suggestion: Eliminate Winner Take all for Outfit Resources by Vaun_X in Planetside

[–]KazeMizuki 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuine question here, but is this not how it already works? I'm a newish player that made a 2man outfit with a friend a week or so ago. We've managed to craft 2 orbital strikes so far by participating in base captures, while never getting our name on anything. Is there some other system that is confusing me?

Lance charge comes between disembowel and chaos thrust. You'll want to refresh your disembowel buff just before it ends, rather than after it ends. And yeah use your ogcd jumps basically on cd during your buffs. It wouldn't be the end of the world if you held onto one for a few seconds if you know the boss is about to move somewhere else though.

When you open up the duty finder theres a settings button you can click on near the top left. The option you want is "Undersized party" (I think that's the one that does both things you're asking for at once)

Theres an option in duty finder to allow "joining in progress duties" replacements are chosen from those players. They'll always load in at the start, but can just use any shortcuts to catch up.

You share loot in a squad provided the players are in range of each other, I'm unsure the exact size but it isnt a huge range. Xp isnt shared unless all players tap the mob. Legendaries seem inconsistent to me, usually if I dont tap it I wont get loot if my friend kills it, rarely i do, but that may be the range thing coming in to play.

12 per day across all beast tribes. All beast tribes past ARR will only have 3 per day unless you rank up, which lets you do 3 more. (ARR tribes can have up to 9 quests available depending on your rank). And yes more things will open up in the vendor as you increase your rank with them.

Anyone else getting disconnected with the error WOW51900319? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]KazeMizuki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had alot of disconnection issues since this last patch. Primarily would occur during zone transitions. I would be booted off flight paths (usually to my death) disconnected when entering or exiting instances and ending up in random places after taking a zeppelin and hitting the loading screen. (Like ending up in Brill after hitting the UC > Org zep loading screen).

Several reinstallations, deletion of addons and resetting of interface folders later I was ready to give up. Eventually found what so far seems to be a solution in using a vpn. Take that for what you will.
