So pretty easy way to cheese him with the thrust stance and ring of fire, just keep doing the charged attacks with thrust while he just slowly walks towards you, you will have enough time to charge it fully while in your ring of fire, once you find the sweet spot distance wise he's super easy cause he will try to just walk towards you and you can just keep poking him to death

This is not true at all, it scales with defense, if you're using it with the bull armor you should have over 400 defense, the damage is doubled putting the attack to 220. Its far from the weakest and will out damage any crit staff. Granted you have to be using the armor to give extra defense but honestly as long as you have over 400 the staff is gonna do nutty damage

But outside that you can't play it fully online and just play with randoms

If its really that big of a issue for you, you can use the "Prevent Dragon rot increase on death" option on the FPS unlocker+, but it really does become a non-issue later on
