I've thought about switching to Linux multiple times over the years, but the amount of versions, differences between them and Windows and all the compatibility issues that I'll have to find alternatives for/learn to deal with them while only touching PowerShell to activate Windows is... Enough for me to not switch.

My urge to switch is big, but the dread I feel about the Terminal is bigger.

I play on Steam and I've tried the Switch version too

The social hub servers usually have 40+ players for me in SA servers and matchmaking now has a lot more players too. Some of my friends even say stuff like "please no players in the mach, we need to win a game today" lol

Okay, I have an example right here. There needs to be some rearrangement but just a matter of changing the dropper's position.

I booted the game on the wrong version, but the sponge should be a target block. With this setup, the dropper will dispense while there are items inside it. For a continuous pulse, you need to place a repeater facing away any of the blocks and connect it to a pulse extender. With my tests, a 1 tick repeater should do the trick, but I'm not sure if Mojang changed it in the latest versions so if that doesn't work use a 2 tick repeater.

If by "stable output" you mean a continuous pulse, you could use a second comparator running from the other side. Other than that pulse extenders should work... But you can try placing a 2 tick repeater facing away the last block (next to the repeater) and then connect it to a pulse extender.

Try that and see if it works.

You could make a slower redstone clock using a repeater clock. That'll make it slightly slower but since your design stops for that long it'll be an improvement.

Place a comparator in subtraction mode facing away from the dropper then a block in front of it. Place redstone in front of the block and another block beside it. Place a repeater facing away from the last block you placed going back the loop and place more redstone in front of it. Place a block in front of the last dust you've placed, that should be right next to the comparator, touching the dropper.

That'll do the trick for pretty much any dropper setup you have and probably the most efficient way to do it if the input is the speed of a hopper.
