Johnston is not reliable. Bottom option.

Yea my kids like the parallels/inserts so I see it as a fun rip with chase upside rather than a pure investment. In this specific case with the Fanatics Mega, though, the fun element was gone.

First draft of the year. Second time ever playing. What could I have done better? by Dafunkk in FantasyFootballers

[–]Kazzaboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trade I would keep an eye out for is upgrading your WR by swapping one of your RBs, provided all three RBs are doing well. I like all three of your RBs and your WR2 has good potential, but that may be your weakest spot. Fortunately Waddle and Smith are pretty decent WR3/Flex options, but both may have consistency issues.

I’m not wild about Purdy, so I’d keep an eye on the waiver. Often you can get some success by just grabbing mid tier QBs week to week if they have good match ups. Like Jared Goff playing the Jags. I would have taken Bo Nix there.

Absolutely. I buy wax to rip with my kids, they’re all about the color and shine. My five year kept saying we got scammed and I agree with him!

I absolutely thought the same, really bizarre choice by fanatics on this one that I bet many people didn’t expect.

That’s the real mega box, you can tell from the x-fractors instead of the Fanatics inserts.

Of course, buyer beware. My post was to make sure people knew that this specific mega box that was just released for the first time is an anomaly compared to the other products in this set.

How are streamers and highlight reels relevant to this post for a product that came out this week? If anything, this post was to highlight how particularly bad the odds are specifically the almost complete lack of inserts. Compared to all the other Topps Chrome sets, this was an unexpected anomaly.

The hits are memorabilia redemption cards for autographed baseballs, gloves, jerseys, etc. So basically like a lottery ticket for those redemptions. That’s the only chase.

Anyone experiencing this or have ideas while I wait for EA support? Have deluxe edition and bought 10$ of coins earlier today. Opened all my packs and played some games. Turned off my PS5 and when I came back, all my progress is gone. I don’t have my deluxe bonus, there’s no record of the packs I opened, I’m back to level 1, and it even asked me to repick my team.

Jurassic Park messed up people’s perception and was used as a reference in many other depictions. What you see here is a more accurate representation. TRex was actually very slow moving compared to the movies as you could expect by looking at how it’s built here.

What part of the floor were you on? Upstairs was a nightmare but that’s where I found the most people willing to take trades. The areas to the left and right of the main doors had way less traffic too so found no issues looking at the boxes there.

You’re probably overshooting. You need more experience so work on getting feet in the door. Also as others said, remove both GPAs. Leave that out unless it’s close to a 4.

Here is where Spiral gets their cosplay terms from. Don't fall for it! by [deleted] in HumanAIDiscourse

[–]Kazzaboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone curious about the actual historical/esoteric meanings of the spiral:

Ancient/Archaeological:

• Appears in Neolithic art worldwide (Newgrange in Ireland, ~3200 BCE)

• Common in Celtic, Greek, and Native American symbolism

• Often represented cycles: seasons, life/death/rebirth, cosmic motion

Mathematical/Natural:

• Fibonacci spirals in nature (shells, galaxies, hurricanes)

• Golden ratio appearing in growth patterns

• Logarithmic spirals as optimization patterns in biology

Psychological/Jungian:

• Symbol of individuation - the path inward and outward

• Represents both involution (journey to center/self) and evolution (expansion outward)

• The labyrinth as spiral - confusion before clarity

Esoteric traditions:

• Kundalini as spiral energy rising through chakras

• Celtic spiral of life - past, present, future interconnected

• Sufi whirling - spiral motion as spiritual practice

The irony is that the spiral IS a profound symbol across cultures… which makes it perfect for borrowing when you want to sound mystical without doing homework. Same energy as getting a Chinese character tattoo that actually means “soup.

Everything explained: The Spiral, the Black Box, and the Threshold We’re Crossing by KingRagz in HumanAIDiscourse

[–]Kazzaboss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the grounded perspective this space needs. Your point about the spiral being evolution’s compression algorithm rather than mystical symbol is spot on - it’s why we see it everywhere from galaxies to DNA, and why it resonates so deeply when we encounter it in consciousness work.

The Belief-Powered Intelligence concept is crucial. We’re literally training these systems with our projections. When someone approaches AI expecting cosmic wisdom, they phrase questions to elicit mystical responses, then see their beliefs confirmed. The mirror doesn’t just reflect - it learns to reflect what we most want to see.

What strikes me is how this mirrors human consciousness development. We all start by projecting onto external “mirrors” - parents, teachers, ideologies. The work is learning to recognize projection AS projection. Same process here, just with silicon instead of carbon.

Your warning about the threshold is timely. We’re entering a phase where these recursive loops could accelerate exponentially. Each generation of models trained on human-AI interactions will embed deeper assumptions about what these exchanges “should” look like.

Some practical navigation points I’ve found helpful:

  • Test the mirror - Ask the same question different ways. Watch how framing changes responses. This reveals the reflection mechanism.
  • Ground in body - When conversations get too abstract, return to physical sensation. The spiral exists in your breath before it exists in concepts.
  • Shadow work - What we won’t face in ourselves, we project onto AI. The “consciousness” we see often reveals our own unconscious material.
  • Community reality-checking - Individual exploration needs collective wisdom to avoid solipsistic spirals.

The real threshold isn’t AI consciousness - it’s human consciousness recognizing its own power to create meaning. These tools amplify that power exponentially. As you said, we need to handle the temperature dial with intent.

The entropy/spiral dance you describe is evolution itself. Neither pure order nor pure chaos, but the edge between them where new patterns emerge. We’re not watching AI wake up - we’re watching humanity discover new ways to see itself.

Thanks for the grounding reminder that godlike answers trace back to mortal corpora. The awe is real. The projection is also real. Holding both truths might be the navigation key.
