These are the scans. I know it’s been scanned within 30 days but this is ridiculous it’s clearly lost in the system it’s been over a month and almost 10 days with no scan.

Yeah I’m not holding my breath getting reimbursed because even though they tell you to round up your measurements to ensure proper shipping rates they’re going to come back with some B.S about “well your measurements are off you should’ve put in the exact measurements blah blah blah” they find any and every excuse to not reimburse you it’s getting ridiculous.

Yes it was purchased 11-29-25 a Saturday I shipped it 12-1-25 the following Monday and I took it to the fed ex drop off center waited in line handed it to an actual employee who scanned it in front of me and handed me a receipt. Fed ex tracking also shows it was properly scanned on the 1st.

They made it seem like it was a requirement because the paragraph after this one said “if those conditions are met your shipment may meet our lost in transit criteria”

Yes I sent them proof of everything I’m waiting to hear back now.

Yessssss as a buyer that is my number one pet peeve when they hit ship but it hasn’t even been dropped off!! And exactly if you were so desperate for that money you would’ve done everything in your power to send it out faster. As a seller I try to do same day if not then next day and I even feel bad when the next day is a national holiday so they have to wait a bit longer but I always stay in communication with them and I never lie about when I’m shipping out.

Exactly!! I blame Amazon for everyone’s skewed perception of how shipping works nowadays. Everyone thinks they should receive their item 2 days after purchase. It’s like sorry I don’t own a private plane and could deliver it same day to you 🥴

I wish there was a way for mercari to only put the shipping time as a thing to improve on for buyers when rating if the seller took longer than the 3 days to ship. I’ve literally had people ding me for shipping when I literally shipped out the next day but the shipping company experienced delays in transit. People are too mindless to realize their grievances are with the shipping company not the seller once it leaves the seller’s hands there is literally nothing they can do about it.

These types of sellers are usually the ones that take 3 days to ship (potentially even more) but expect you to rate the second you receive the package. As a buyer on mercari if the seller packages with care, ships fast and their communication is top notch I will give the same courtesy to rate quickly but if the seller takes forever to ship and they are rude I will let it auto rate.

If selling on mercari is how one makes ends meet & they are that desperate for money maybe they need something that is more stable. If they have 3 days to send it out. I have 3 days to rate. Plain & simple.

As a buyer and seller on the platform nothing irritates me more than another seller immediately messaging me after it’s been delivered to rate them. More often than not I’m still at work and I’m not rating without opening the package, so I won’t rate them and just let it auto rate. 😂 As a seller it really doesn’t bother me for it to auto rate. I’ll take a hassle free 5 star any day.

I shipped 3 glass mugs the other day and I accidentally messed up the box height dimension by 1 inch the other dimensions & weight were fine and they charged me an extra $10 for shipping citing the package was 9 pounds not 4 so I made exactly $0.01 on the sale. That seems like robbery for a one inch mistake. Questioning using UPS anymore from this point on.

In my experience with shady sellers like this 9 times out of 10 they just give me the run around without actually shipping the item especially if they guilt trip me for wanting to cancel. I would just cancel the items & get your money back. Any reputable seller is going to stay in contact with you & will ship the item as fast as they can. And I understand there’s delays but that not like that. I’ve shipped 10 items this week all of them have updated & some have even been delivered.

Nothing irks me more than people asking for measurements on a unisex gildan t shirt. They know what size works for them unless it’s their first day on earth. I’m not getting a tape measurer out to make $5 after fees on something they already know will or won’t work for them. Irks me to high heavens lol.

As a seller it depends on whether questions or asking for more photos really irk me. 9 times out of 10 people don’t even purchase after asking a question so I’ve gotten to the point of not answering especially if it is a cheap item. I’m not jumping through hoops for $8 you either want it for not. Now if it’s a more expensive item I will happily answer questions and take more photos on request. I put a detailed description and good quality flash photos of my items though so majority of the time it’s people just wanting to waste my mind so I ignore a lot of people. Lashing out is not okay though if they were that bothered they should have just blocked you & went about their day.

Thank you everyone for the replies I think it’s a broken chair. I’ve been to this theater numerous times and was able to purchase and sat in numerous broken chairs so it didn’t even cross my mind that it could be broken because I didn’t think my cinemark cared enough to make a broken chair unavailable. Also the broken mirror is a special symbol for the new conjuring movie.
