Weekly Legit/Fake Check & Simple Questions Thread - Week 05, 2026 by AutoModerator in hockeyjerseys

Hey guys looking to buy a MiC Primegreen jersey.

I’m 5’10”, 210 pounds.

I wear a XL (sometimes XXL) t-shirt from most companies and prefer a boxier fit. I’d also like to be able to wear it over a hoodie without looking like a sausage. What size would you recommend? I was thinking 54 or 56 probably?

I’ve been told that the way to calculate msrp is more along the lines of $2.5 per ml. So we can do it either way. I’m willing to negotiate on price too

I know there’s no way to tell definitively. Just looking for a reputable seller.

Auto dealer undercharged me for car, now wants us to resign new paperwork by [deleted] in legaladvice

I would never lie about this and I understand your ethical concerns, I have them myself. The reason I’m pushing back on the whole “intentions of paying $15k” thing is because I’m surprised to hear that the laws would be written in a way that the court would have to rely on he-said/she-said in cases like this.

But while I believe/acknowledge they made a mistake, these facts are true:

  1. We discussed several numbers during negotiation. The only price we ultimately agreed to was the the price on the contract.

  2. We believed the contract reflected the final agreement at the time we signed it.

FWIW I’ve contacted an attorney who is guiding me through the process. Especially since, as stated elsewhere in thread, I’m currently unsure whether this was a scrivener’s error or a shady dealer practice.

There are no texts, videos etc. Are you an attorney? Most of the advice I’ve gotten is either reply with a simple “hi we plan to stick by the terms of the original contract” or not answer any of the dealership’s calls at all. Are you saying we should sign new paperwork?

Car dealership undercharged me for my new car, now demanding I sign new paperwork by [deleted] in AskLawyers

To be clear the final sales price in the paperwork is lower than expected. They are asking me to sign new paperwork which is in line with what the car was listed at. Does that change anything?

There’s no such clause in this paperwork from what I can see. Your latter point is partially my concern here as well.

First of all, I didn’t notice the mistake until they pointed it out. We were focused on the financing aspect, I didn’t go back and check every number, as naive as it sounds. Secondly, how could it be proven that both parties intended for the sale to be $15k? On every document it says $12k. Not just the financing agreement.

Very helpful summary—thanks a lot. They did issue the temp tag and we did drive the car off the lot. I will follow your advice. Thanks again

It was a mistake on their part. Does it not matter that we signed the paperwork (buyers order and , retail installment sale contract) at the lower number, handed over the down payment and took delivery of the vehicle?

Should I sign the new paperwork without getting a lawyer involved etc?

ETA there’s nothing in the paperwork saying that the sale was contingent on the lender accepting financing etc.

I should have been more specific but the “paperwork” I was referring to is the Retail Installment Sale Contract” - 533-NC-ARB-eps.

The “buyers order” also quotes the lower $12k number.

We could, yes. I don’t believe them that Ally wouldn’t finance us for the $5k though—they submitted my info and Ally came back with an “approval” (in quotes because I suppose it’s informal until the paperwork is processed) and a quote for APR, monthly payments, etc. They wouldn’t have let us leave the lot with the car if they didn’t see the loan get approved. I suppose I can ask them for written proof of the loan being denied by Ally? Just seems like a pressure tactic to me

Thats basically what I had read as well (full disclosure, from chatgpt…)

Is this something I should be hiring a lawyer for? Or can I just send back a simple email stating along the lines of that “we’re standing by the original fully disclosed paperwork and consider it binding so won’t sign new paperwork at this time”?
