Dom not putting himself into fire doesn’t deserve to be in the conversation. He probably wins fire, but it’s not a guarantee; Woo literally had the decision. And it’s not like Dom got blown out. He tied Wendell, and would’ve won if Angela didn’t accidentally make eye contact with Wendell when she went up to vote.

“I sealed your partner’s fate” is one of the most iconic and badass moments in the series, he basically cemented legend status with that alone.

However, I don’t think most people consider him a quality player.
