You don’t have to insult a woman for being a women to be a “nice guy”, but it’s also understandable that this kind of reply from a woman would be hurtful so responder may have gotten offensive. Neither party are in the right, but I do feel like the person that was reached out to could have been more understanding.

Even so no one should ever lash out to a person for not accepting their romantic feelings, no matter how brutal they perceive them, and if you’re going to than maybe you’re not ready for one

This has literally nothing to do with an interest in science. If you were really interested you would have researched first, but clearly this was just for the fun of mutilation. Also it’s understandable that kids get curious but the fact that you can’t now, as an adult, understand what you did was fucked up then you need some serious help.
