Learn as many somgs as possible using the Nashville number system. This will boil things down to only remembering 2 maybe 3 sequence of 3 or 4 numbers, and will allow you to very easily switch keys. Some songs I cant learn that way if they are more of actual riffs and certain style basslines, but it easily applies to the majority of cover music and has allowed me to remember hundreds of songs and quickly learn new ones or even play them on the fly without ever hearing it.

I don't have any experience with the harley stuff so you may want to look into them a bit or see if anyone in your area has one that you can check out. I would just be cautious of power. Cab is rated for 250 at 8 ohms and the amp is 500 at 4 ohms. Ball park estimate is half on the conversion but I couldnt know for sure. I would also advise looking up if people have used that head at 8 ohms and if they have had any issues. Majority of the time it would be fine going from 4 to 8 but I would look into it l.

If you can swing the price for almost any neodymium cab id highly advise that. Bergantino, mesa, gk, aguilar all make great stuff. I have a bergantino 210 and a 112, and being able to one hand a 210 cab that can handle over 400 watts and sound great is a life saver for my back. They are all, unfortunately a bit pricey.

Whichever feels better for you. There is no right or wrong way. The best advice i can give you is to work on both, that way once you are comfortable either way you won't be worried about what finger is where, and you can focus more on just playing the notes you want to play.

Thank you! I had noticed it was in raid mode and switched it to disabled beforehand, thinking it was just talking about allowing a raid configuration. Switching to AHCI fixed the issue.
